It is with great excitement that we bring to you our initial release of the Maryland Class of 2023 rankings. we give to you our initial top 50 players that we have come across with our boots to the ground approach to scouting. As with all initial rankings, these are likely to see much movement throughout the years as this class head to their senior year as we get the opportunity to see more new faces and players we have seen continue to improve over their career.
Two committed players take the top two spots with Georgetown Prep talented youngster LHP Tommy Roldan (Virginia) and Churchill IF Chris Hacopian (Wake Forest) taking the top two spots. The 2023 class looks to be a talented one in the Old Line State as there are some exciting young prospects that we have come across.
This is especially true of our top ten with a real influx of talent. At No. 7 we have a very intriguing prospect in Massimo Liuzzo of Whitman who shows a very projectable frame that flashed a ton of talent at our Freshman free showcase this past winter.
Massimo Liuzzo, OF, Whitman, 2023.
But enough talk, lets take a look at our top ten.
