Anders Liimatainen: 1B/RHP, (2025) The Winchendon School, MA. 6-foot-2, 225-pound projectable sturdy frame. Projectable and above average at the plate, the right-handed hitter's 95 mph exit velocity ranks him 2nd at the event. (68.5 mph bat speed average). (22.9 mph hand speed average). Starts in a narrow open stance with a low handsy load, then uses a closed small stride. Bat speed is developing, displays an uphill loose swing plane and good extension on his finish. Found lots of barrels with loud contact. Gap to gap aggressive approach. Projectable in the infield, his best throw was registered at 78 mph; has developing, consistent feet, a natural exchange, and developing hands. Movements laterally were developing athletically and he fields the ball out front. Showed a high ¾ slot with consistent accuracy to the base. Capable on the mound, had a ¾ arm angle with developing arm speed. Up-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. Balance point is tall with a falling off shoulders in his delivery. Lands closed with a falling off finish. Produced a fastball that came in at 81-82 mph; showed sporadic control and running sinking action. (Max spin 1980; Avg 1914). His slider (73-75) showed slurvey action and glove side sporadic command. (Max spin 2101; Avg 2068).

Maryland Preseason All-State Session II
Body: 6’1’’, 195 pounds. Strong, well put together frame. Hit: RHH. Open, slightly coiled setup with the hands starting in a pre-loaded launch position up at the shoulder. Utilized a lift and replace stride to initiate the barrel through a direct, flat path into the hitting zone. Feel for the top hand with occasional length offensively. Hit into a stiff front side while staying behind the baseball at will in the box; recorded a 55% fly ball rate in a mostly LCF, pull side approach. Worked his way up to an impressive 321 foot peak batted ball distance via Trackman Baseball. Power: 90 mph exit velocity during BP per TrackMan. Gap to gap pop at the moment. Arm: RH. INF - 74 mph. Lengthy high ¾ slot with accuracy across. Defense: Arrived with a soft glove hand playing off the toes, changed timing here and there when arriving at the fielding window from a moderately low posture; accurate funnels into the chest line and got the hips and shoulders in line before letting it rip; average feel around the bag. Run: 8.19 60-yard time.
Delivery: Big side rocker into a medium leg lift with hip coil across his body; worked down the mound with success finishing balanced over the front side. Repeatability present, hands separate on time from the chest. Arm Action: RH. Low, OTT slot. FB: T80 mph, 78-80 mph. Average spin rate of 1914 rpm. Played heavier down in the zone, carries well towards the plate. CB: 64-66 mph. Average spin rate of 1928 rpm. Up to -12 inches of depth (IVB) with similar horizontal break as well; held shape well with a good finish out in front.
