Power / Speed Score
A simple calculation that divides the athlete’s Exit Velocity Max by the athlete’s 60 Yard Dash time for the given event year. For example, 98 MPH / 7.00s = 14.00.
Thomas is a 6’3”, 185lb. pitcher, outfielder with an athletic frame. Compact stance with a long stride and follow through. Able to make sufficient contact while keeping the ball pull-side. Defensively, calm track to the baseball with fundamental mechanics and efficient intangibles. On the mound, smooth delivery with long arm action. Consistent on both halves of the plate with sharp breaking pitches that are efficient in the lower half of the zone.
Exit Velocity- 87 mph
OF Velocity- 76 mph

6-foot-3, 185-pound right-handed pitching prospect. The fastball sat 75-76 mph with arm side action to the pitch. The spin pitch was 70-71 mph and solid in shape, as it could be an out pitch at some point. The changeup is still developing for him. The delivery is online with the feet and the slot is above 3/4 in height. The pace of the delivery is solid and he pulls the glove across the hitters face. The tracking of the front shoulder needs to stay aligned as he comes off target too quickly. The arm is clean and I like the spin pitch. The addition of physical strength will aid his game as well.

6-foot-2, 165-pound right-handed pitcher. Has a great frame for pitching and should continue to fill out. The delivery is a short step back into the balance position and gets going toward the target. The fastball was up to 72 mph. The arm works from an over the top slot and pauses on the backside. I think as he continues to work, the arm speed will increase. The breaking ball is a work in progress at 70 mph. But he showed the ability to create the spin on a few. I like the potential with this arm. His frame allows for added growth, which should lead to added velocity. I’m looking forward to following his progress.
