We would like to thank all who participated in The PBR New England 2020 Scout Day: Strike Zone. This was a great opportunity for 2021-2025 prospects to be put on college recruiting boards. Many players impressed during their individual workouts at the showcase. 2020 Scout Day: Strike Zone - Quick Hits
THE BATS
- Zachary Meehl, C/RHP, R/R, 2024. Meehl is a physical right-handed catching prospect that shows the ability to create carry to the pull side.
- Luke Beyers, C/RHP, R/R, 2024. Beyers is a good looking young hitter. The swing is balanced and the ball jumps off his bat.
- Enger Paulino, OF/3B, R/R, 2022. Paulino uses his long levers to create good leverage with his swing. He shows the ability to drive the ball gap to gap.
THE ARMS
- Zachary Meehl, C/RHP, R/R, 2024. Meehl is a big, physical young right-hander. The arm is quick and shows late, heavy sink on the fastball.
- Thomas Murray, RHP/OF, R/R, 2021. Murray has a strong frame and a simple delivery. The arm-swing is clean and shows a tight breaking ball.
- Samuel Conrad, LHP/OF, L/L, 2025. Conrad really impressed on the mound. The young left-hander showed a fluid delivery and a clean arm-swing. The fastball has some late sink and he has feel for a breaking pitch.
THE DEFENDERS
- Luke Beyers, C/RHP, R/R, 2024. Beyers is a talented young right-handed hitting catcher. The feet are athletic and the arm strength is good.
- Enger Paulino, OF/3B, R/R, 2022. Paulino showed the ability to play multiple positions with good athleticism. The arm plays in the outfield and the hands are soft in the infield.
