Max FB: 85, FB: 82-85, CB: 64-65, CH: 70-72
6-foot-1, 190-pound RHH with strong and athletic frame, hits from a balanced/wide stance, short stride, hands set high and dropped some to trigger swing, swing path worked uphill on this occasion and tended to get under the baseball, generates above average bat speed for age, went 0-for-3 in game play. Defensively, showed solid outfield actions, plays through the ball well on the ground, long high-3/4 release with solid arm strength and carry. Glass is one to keep an eye on in the 2019 class.
7/516 - Max FB: 82, FB: 80-82, CB: 63-66, CH: 68-70
6-foot-1, 190-pound RHP with strong/athletic frame, long and loose arm action works through a ¾ slot, regular effort in delivery, fastball showed some arm-side run and sink, slurvy type curveball that was thrown for strikes, changeup is straight with good velocity difference of fastball, showed confidence in throwing a full count curveball for a strikeout, allowed one hit and recorded two strikeouts in two innings. Very interesting 2019 arm.
1/24/16 - Home-1st: 5.01, Position Velocity: IF-76, Exit Velocity: 86
6-foot-1, 190-pound, physically advanced right-handed hitter hits from a wide base with minimal stride, uses some pre-pitch hand movement as a timing mechanism that quiets down on the pitch, uses lower half well and shows well above average bat speed for age, flashes gap-to-gap power, strong kid, ball jumps off his barrel. Shows some athleticism around the first base bag, soft hands, good arm strength. Has the potential to be a high-level player in the 2019 class.
As a pitcher, with strong/athletic frame, arm is quick and works cleanly through a ¾ slot with regular effort, shows premium velocity for age, fastball showed occasional arm-side run, secondary pitches need development (not uncommon for his age), tends to slow arm on curveball and get under it leaving it up in the zone, slows arm on changeup that is mostly straight. Glass has potential to be a high-level 2019 prospect.
