Thornton works a slower and methodical tempo, solid delivery and repeats, good direction, downhill tilt, over the top release, clean arm action. Fastball is 77-80 mph, thrown for strikes, good angle coming from his hand, occasional run to arm side, changeup is 63-67 mph, near fastball arm speed, occasional fade action, curveball is 59-60 mph.
