Heartland CC signee. Currently ranked No. 133 in the state, and standing in at a strong and athletic 5-foot-9, 150-pounds. Parapet got the start behind the dish for Conant and batted leadoff. He has an overarching athleticism to his defensive game with some evident quick-twitch. He made some big stops behind the dish to prevent extra bases for opposing baserunners, while also showing to be a soft receiver with loose wrists. The right-handed hitter also held his own in the box, working competitive at-bats versus one of the top prep arms in the country. Parpet will be relied upon again on Saturday when Conant battles it out for the 4A State Title.
