The left-handed hitting junior elevated the baseball and worked gap-to-gap with loose strong hands throughout. On average Fagerson recorded some of the day’s furthest batted balls with a 275 ft. average distance and max batted distance of 341 feet. Still uncommitted, Fagerson is certainly a follow heading into the spring and summer circuit.

1B Jack Fagerson (Plainfield North, 2023) swings a left-handed bat that caught our eye, He has a short, uphill stroke that drew some impressive contact with a 6-foot-3, 190-pound frame. He generates above-average bat speed and his top batted ball left the bat at 87-plus mph and travelled 314 feet. His size and quality of contact give him a ceiling to monitor moving forward.
