Uncommitted. Was the definition of dominant during his electric start on Sunday. The athletic southpaw at 6-foot, 180-pounds generated whiffs at will as he struck out eleven over four innings of work. Showed a true three pitch mix. Consisting of the FB that sat around 88-90 and topped at 92, the CB sat in the mid 70’s and created depth , the CH was mixed in occasionally in the low 80’s with late-fade. All three pitches induce heavy swing-and-miss. The recent ‘24 future gamer continues to impress on the mound and will be a must know name to watch for his upcoming junior season.
Uncommitted. Pretty infatuated with the look Beccerra provided in his start for the Georgia Jackets against USA Prime. Finding his groove early the LHP was racking up the whiffs left and right. Working with a three pitch mix with the fastball sitting at 87-88, and running it up to 90 with late-life. Showing the change-up at 80-82 with late-tail. The fastball/chane-up combo consistently kept batters off-balance for heavy swings and misses between the two. The curveball was shown at 75-78. The three pitch mix Becerra offers is must-see and the LHP will be a name to circle.
