After another successful summer at Lakepoint, we at Prep Baseball Georgia take a look back over the past summer, and the standout performers from the 2026 class. This class was well represented week in and week out with loads of talent and skill. The following list of players are some of the top uncommitted pitchers and position players for the Peach state’s highly competitive junior class. As the school year gets underway, these player’s names will be names to know as high school preseason rankings roll around.

Georgia State Games: (5/25-5/28)

Trey Luke OF/LHP , Rockmart, 2026
Uncommitted. 6-foot-0, 170-pounds. Really athletic player leading off. both hits with 90+ exit velocity up the middle. Gets good separation and has fast hands that can get to the FB. Projectable frame that should continue to get better as he matures. Strong on the mound running his FB up 87. Good to follow this summer.

Taylor Fuller, MIF, Holy Innocents Episcopal, 2026
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 170-pounds. Fuller had a strong start to his summer tallying multiple hits at the State Games of Georgia. Fuller flashed power to the pull-side, while showing the ability to work the opposite field. Fuller has explosiveness in his lower half, and stays in the legs in his swing. He showed a consistent barrel through the zone showing strong bat to ball skills and getting to tough pitches. Fuller is a name to look out for this summer in the 2026 class.

Bryce Davis, 3B, North Paulding, 2026
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame. Speed and quickness on display with the ability to leg out those infield singles and hustle doubles. He matched this speed with the ability to hit for power as well, crushed a ball 331-feet and left the bat at 91 exit velocity. Extremely versatile defender, showcased a good IQ at multiple positions. Impressive glance, seems to set a high standard for himself and strives to achieve it. More strength and speed potential the more he continues to develop.

Showdown at Lakepoint: (5/31-6/03)

Nolan Elrod, LHP/1B, Cartersville, 2026
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 185-pounds. Solid outing Saturday morning from Elrod. Good stuff working early, really settled in around the 3rd inning. Deceptive combinations kept hitters out-front nearly the entire game. Lots of ground-ball outs. FB(T82, 81-78) lived on the outer-half the entire game, working well for ground-ball outs when he needed them. CH(74-70) productive pitch that tailed up and away as well as down in the zone. SL(69-67) was extremely effective with good command for a back-door pitch for called strikes. Collected almost 15 whiffs in 5.0IP, 7K’s, 3 ER, 1 BB.

David Ojeda, OF/RHP, Flowery Branch, 2026
Uncommitted. Ojeda had a great weekend with multiple hard hit balls. Physical frame at 5-foot-11, 183-pounds with great power off the bat. Smooth swing and good at following through his swing with quick hand speed. Strong lower body and quick out the box and around the bases. Someone to definitely follow this summer.

Harry Cole, OF, Adairsville, 2026
Uncommitted. Scrappy, twitchy 5-foot-6, 145-pound frame. Cole had multiple great hits this weekend. Good patience at the plate with great power. Watches the breaking ball very well and has quick hand speed. Strong lower body and quick at the box to show off the speed. Someone to watch over the summer.

Chase Anarumo, RHP/1B, Holy Innocents Episcopal, 2026
Uncommitted. What an outing in relief from Anarumo on the first night of Showdown at Lakepoint. The righty came in out of the pen and dominated sitting batters down left and right. Anarumo had the fastball and curveball combination working all night. With the fastball sitting 80-84 topping at 85 with heavy arm-side-run. Adding in the curve at 66-69 with tight late break, with horizontal movement and the ability to add and subtract sweep. Finishing with a final line of 4.2 innings pitched with 8 k’s to 1 walk, with no hits. The right handed pitcher will be an intriguing name to watch over the summer.

Will Forte, INF/C, Lovett, 2026
Uncommitted. With a strong physical frame at 6-foot-3, 193-pounds, using a strong lower half and electric bat speed. The catcher obliterates balls at ease. In a crucial game collected a knock up the middle at an exit velocity of 95. On the defensive side Forte, a vocal leader, was a standout behind the dish all week. Showcasing the grittiness behind the plate blocking balls at ease. Also showing off the arm cutting down multiple runners on the base paths. Forte was a force on both sides of the ball over the weekend.

Jacob Mayfield, OF/MIF, Dacula, 2026
Uncommitted. Immense power potential in his frame at 6-foot-6, 200-pounds. Mayfield was one of the biggest standouts over the course of Showdown at Lakepoint. Consistently barreling balls over 90+ exit velocity. Arguably Mayfield's biggest day he came up to the plate and scorched one perfectly into the right center field gap at an exit velocity of 95 and came all the way around for an inside-the-park home-run. Showcasing the perfect blend of power and speed. In his next at-bat Mayfield followed up the homerun with a ringing pull-side double at an exit velocity of 91.

Ellis Alldredge, OF/RHP, North Forsyth, 2026
Uncommitted. 6-foot-1, 170-pound frame. Alldredge had a standout championship performance to secure the win for his squad. Coming out of the pen firing on all cylinders, Alldredge sat 87-89 on the fastball and ran it up to 90 with heavy arm-side run. Mixing in the curveball at 75-77 with a tight late break. Also sprinkling in the change-up that dropped off the table. Alldredge came up down one with two on and with the game on the line and delivered, sending a ball deep into the right center gap plating two to push across the go-ahead run which would end up being the winning run. There is limitless two-way potential in Alldredge’s profile.

Taylor Fuller, MIF, Holy Innocents Episcopal, 2026
Uncommitted. Fuller is a LHH MIF that brings many tools to the table. His swing is very loose and athletic allowing him to really hit any pitch that is given to any part of the field. Taylor smoked one up the middle and also went backside with 2ks. He also has a very nice glove to compliment him up the middle. Very nice hands with great range were shown this weekend for Fuller and has the arm to go with it. On the other hand, Fuller is a true issue on the base paths. It felt like everytime he got on a base a base was being stolen and was never even close to being thrown out. Fuller has all the things he needs to be successful and should be a name to follow for years to come.

Trey Luke, LHP/OF, Rockmart, 2026
Uncommitted. Continues to imprss and climb for us. Has shown a serious hit tool being leadoff for TL10 16u, and leads off a lot of games with 90+EV hits. He matches this power with good speed on the bases and shows overall good “hitability”. Luke matches the hitting with a good pitching tool running his FB up 87. Luke is a serious two way talent this summer and I would not be surprised if he continued to climb.

National Program Invite (NPI): (6/06-6/10)

Chip Glogorski, C/1B, Kings Ridge Christian, 2026
Uncommitted. Excellent display of hitting for the upcoming junior. Continues to impress, every time we see him at an event/tournament. Thursday morning he showcased his ability to maintain heavy power on a slider left out over the plate, hitting it 98.8 off the bat for a stand-up double. One of the top guys in the state behind the dish, but is a wall at first base. Vocal leader, smart at the plate, and has a disciplined swing to make him a weapon in the 3-hole. One of the top uncommitted guys in the 2026 class.

Trevor Condon, OF, Etowah, 2026
Uncommitted. 5-foot-10, 160-pound frame. Ge is becoming one of the premier uncommitted names in the 2026 class impressing at almost every event he's at. Condon has a mature approach that he matches with good power making him a true threat in the box. Condon is also a good runner which makes him an even bigger threat offensively.

Kaleb Binion, OF, Carrollton, 2026
Uncommitted. Coming off a great showing in the Top Prospect Games, Binion showed out again this weekend. His high bat speed and sweet lefty swing brought a lot of production for Klutch 16U, and he even made an appearance on the mound as well. Binion is one of the more consistent bats in the 2026 Georgia class, and should continue to produce at a high level for the remainder of the summer.

Charles Chappelle, OF/RHP, Dalton, 2026
Uncommitted. 5-foot-11, 185-pound frame. The definition of a gamer. He hit the ball hard all around the yard all weekend. He has a very strong lower half with immense bat speed. Has a lot of pull side pop from the right side, loves to let the ball get deep and drive it to the outfield. Shows an inside-to-out swing with an all-fields approach and can elevate the ball with ease.

Todd Haley, 1B/OF, Walton, 2026
Uncommitted. Haley has a very strong physical frame at 6-foot-0, 215-pounds. Shows the ability to hit for power to all parts of the field. Has a short and quick swing with quick hands that generates a lot of pop. Found barrels all tournament and had a lot of hard contact whether they were hits or outs. Continuously shows out at the plate with lots of raw power in all of his at bats.

Prep Baseball Classic: (6/14-6/17)

Jared Givins, 1B/3B, Greater Atlanta Christian, 2026
Uncommitted. Strong, powerful 6-foot-1, 200-pound frame. Solid day at the plate going 2-for-3 with a loud barrel to clear the bases in the top of the first inning on Friday afternoon. Two solid knocks, one to deep left-center field, and another through the 3-4 hole into right-field. Semi-wide stance at the plate, loose hands, shows quick bat speed and has a present feel for the barrel. Hitting in the 5-spot, he had great at-bats, battled deep into counts and made good adjustments with two strikes.

Nolen Taylor, IF/OF/RHP, Thomas County Central, 2026
Uncommitted. An all around player Saturday morning. Started at 2B then moved into RF where he got to flash the glove and tracking ability, then came in to close the last two innings. FB topped at 82 but sat consistently at 80. CV collected a good amount of swing and misses while keeping hitters honest. CH was thrown sporadically at 77-76 with depth, really had hitters off-balanced and early for pop-fly outs and roll-over ground outs. Good day at the plate went 1-for-2 with a BB. Stays in his lower-half while showing quickness within the barrel. Quiet player, but makes plays and battles deep into counts. High off a hot spring with Thomas County Central and their state playoff run, looking to keep it rolling this summer.

Maddox Waller, C/3B, Sequoyah, 2026
Uncommitted. Physical 6-foot-3, 220 pound frame carries tons of pop and power from the right side. Aggressive approaches on all three at-bats. Worked a two-strike count for a 358 foot bomb, 93 mph off the bat. Matched plane on another barrel right to the center-fielder that was 90 mph off the bat. Generated little back-spin on hard contact. Good adjustments with two-strikes, just a little bit of a wider stance, matched with a small momentum shifting load that transfers lots of power into the ball. Tight-end in football, big body, athletic behind the dish with good arm strength.

Trey Luke, LHP/OF, Rockmart, 2026
Uncommitted. toolsy player that can do it all and do it well. Continuing his hot summer Luke continues to impress at the play this week showing the ability to lead off well and hit for power. Luke also has speed that allows him to leg out infield hits and turn singles into doubles. More impressively this weekend Luke dominated on the mound throwing a 7IP 2H 0R complete game shutout.

Neyland Hulsey, C, Rockmart, 2026
Uncommitted. Physical 5-foot-10, 185-pound frame is a unit behind the plate and at the dish. Neyland has shown out all summer with the hit tool and ability to go backside well, and also can elevate the ball. Hulsey has very quick hands that allow him to get to almost any pitch. He also is a gamer behind the plate catching the majority of the innings this weekend for TL10 and doing so well.

Hudson Forrest, SS/RHP, Mount Vernon Presbyterian, 2026
Uncommitted. This can flat out hit, this weekend he led the entire tournament with 11 base knocks. Keeps a nice simple approach and hits the ball where it's pitched and does not try to do too much. In the semis he went 3 for 3 with 2 singles and a double, loves to use all parts of the field and is very quick on the basepaths. Projectable frame at 6-foot-0, 165-pound frame that will continue to fill out as he continues to develop and get stronger.

Troy Barber, OF, South Forsyth, 2026
Uncommitted. Barber hits out of the leadoff spot for the Georgia Jackets and gives good production out of that spot. He showed his hit tool with an easy backside double to LCF with 2 strikes at one point, and flashed his wheels in the process as well. Barber has a big weight transfer in his load, but he is able to do so without completely selling out for power. He stays connected through the load and keeps a strong front side. Most importantly, Barber plays hard and with his hair on fire every pitch. Absolute gamer.

Sam Moore, RHP, North Forsyth, 2026
Uncommitted. Moore came out firing in his outing for the Georgia Jackets. Easily sitting in the mid to upper 80’s with his FB and working it up to 89 mph a couple times. Elevated the fastball easily and worked the offspeed pitches off of it. He does not completely sell out for his velocity and he uses his strong lower half well. Already a solid frame at 6’0” 195 lbs, but will continue to grow and get stronger, which will bring along more velocity and power. Effortless and repeatable mechanics with his high power stuff makes Moore a very exciting follow.

Davis Nichols, C/3B, Milton, 2026
Uncommitted, Had a great day on Monday going 3-3. Had a single, double, and triple. Showed off the power with all gap hits. Has a smooth swing and does a good job with keeping the barrel through the swing. Strong lower body of good speed around the bases.

Adan Cifuentes, MIF, Cherokee, 2026
Uncommitted, Good frame 5’10’’ 165 with good power. Quick hands to help with the barrel off the bat. Knocked in an RBI off of a triple hit through the gap to show off an all-fields approach.

Landon Patterson, OF/RHP, Rockmart, 2026
Patterson continues to show the impressive hit tool this summer, showing the ability to hit it to both sides of the field in any situation. Coming off a good spring with Rockmart High School, Patterson is solidifying himself as a name to watch on a talented TL10 team.

16u National Championship: (6/20-6/26)

AJ Rice, RHP/SS, Pickens, 2026
Uncommitted. Ran the FB up to 90 on Thursday morning of the 16u National Championship games, grabbed the 90 mph heater in the fifth inning after consistently flirting with the upper-80’s throughout his outing. SL had a serious sweeping-break in the upper-70’s and low-80’s (~2894 RPM) that collected tons of whiffs, displayed the ability to throw it for command, giving a front-door look for strikes and also far-and-away from RHH. Deals quickly, out of a three-quarter arm slot. Twitchy guy at the plate, quick hands and flashed the bat speed early. High arm to follow for the summer going into his junior year.

Drew Abney, C/3B, Pope, 2026
Uncommitted. Two quality barrels on Thursday morning where Drew showcased his ability to work deep into counts, and then find a barrel with two strikes. He had one of the loudest rounds of batting practice at Top Prospect Games, and he continues to flash the hit tool. High IQ in the box makes for a strong presence in the 2-spot with tons of pull-side power. Strong and physical lower half, with an accurate feel for the barrel. Continues to be dominant behind the dish with good arm strength, blocks it up, and has fluent movement throughout his stance.

Michael Heath, RHP/OF, Brookwood, 2026
Uncommitted. Impressive look on Thursday morning. Had a tremendous day at the plate, had two good barrels, and drove in 3-runs. The first hit was 91.4 mph off the bat, and drove into CF that scored a pair, where he advanced on the relay throw to home. The second hit drove in what was at the time the game tying run into RF off a breaking ball up in the zone. Tall, lean, athletic 6-foot-1, 170 pound frame. Heath came out for a save opportunity where he struck out two batters and had the third hitter with two strikes before a miscue on a pass-ball. FB ran up to 86 and sat around 84 (~2200 RPM) and a SL in the lower 70’s.

Andre Sweet, OF/SS, Cherokee, 2026
Uncommitted. Quick first impressions Saturday morning in the lead-off spot. Finished the game with two hits, a triple and a single; hard contact from both as they were peppered into the opposite field for line-drives. Very smooth movements in the box, slide-step load, with some hand movement to initiate his swing. Maintains good momentum in his lower-half, with a quick trigger. Impressive speed(+) on the base paths, had two stolen bases and then proceeded to tag and score off a very shallow pop-fly in center-field. Aggressive on the base paths and at the plate.

Joseph Soto, LHP, Brookwood, 2026
Uncommitted. Joseph “Joe” Soto continues to get better each outing we get to see from him. From watching him at the beginning of the spring living 80-82 to now sitting 84-86 the hard work is really showing. Soto came out of the pen for Devine Baseball and showed lights out stuff working his sinking FB to both sides of the plate and dropping in a really deceiving change up. Soto showed good feel for the CB dropping it in backwards counts as well. Really looking forward to seeing soto continue to grow this upcoming fall and spring.

Evan Moody, OF, Carrollton, 2026
Uncommitted. Moody is a twitchy, strong, athletic bat that produced at a high level all week. He showed his good hit tool early in the week during pool play with several loud barrels to the opposite field, one of them being a backside bases clearing double for USA Scout. His high bat speed and good wheels makes him a constant threat at the plate, on the bases, and in the outfield. Moody already has an athletic frame at 6-foot, 200-pounds, but could continue to get stronger and produce even higher exit velocities as he gets stronger. A lot of tools to like from the uncommitted upcoming junior.

Eli Balliew, OF, Sonoraville, 2026
Uncommitted. A ‘21 and ‘22 Junior Future Gamer, Balliew showed off his tools all weekend. In bracket play, facing the #1 seed, Balliew rose to the occasion multiple times. With two strikes and two outs, Balliew went backside to extend his 643 clubs’ lead on a tough pitch. Later in the game, in the top of the 7th, Balliew delivered again with a perfectly executed hit and run for a RBI 3B for a big insurance run. Balliew displayed his fast hands, that are a real problem for opposing pitchers, letting him be on time for any velo. His triple came off a Power 5 lefty. This impressive showing from Balliew definitely opened some eyes, especially with the tools he offers.

Carson Snipes, OF, Marietta, 2026
Uncommitted. Snipes had another big weekend at the 16u national championship this week, showcasing multiple tools on the field for the Georgia jackets 16U American. At 5-foot-11, 165-pounds, Snipes is a wiry & twitchy athlete. He’s a good runner, but what makes him stand out in the outfield is the tears he gets off the bat and a plus arm in the OF. He also showcased good base running ability. However, the hit tool stood out the most. Snipes features a good LH swing with a unique ability to hit in any count and spread the ball all over the field. His swing renders a good middle outfield approach, which is why he does such a good job of spreading the ball.

Jamir Johnson, OF, Locust Grove, 2026
Uncommitted. At 6-foot-2, 180-pounds, Johnson is a figure in the box. He also does a remarkable job both in the outfield and on the base paths, showcasing his plus speed in both elements of the game. At the plate, Johnson impacted the ball hard, hitting balls at 97 and 91 exit velocities in our look Monday. His lightning quick hood and hands allow him to generate excellent separation in his upper body to create power, which he has plenty of : launching a ball off the wall on Monday (the 97 EV hit) which got out there very quickly, and Johnson used his legs to stretch it into an easy stand up triple. The raw tools and the twitch is there, the big thing for Johnson will be cutting down the swing and miss this summer.

Vernon Woodard, RHP/3B/C, Grayson, 2026
Uncommitted. All Woodard does is hit, obliterating baseballs with ease over the course of the 16u National Championship. Showing a mature approach at the plate highlighted by an all-fields approach with excellent leverage through the zone. Balls jump off the bat with consistent 90 + exit velocities. Not only a standout at the plate but a standout on the bump as well. Was a workhorse for his squad that made a final four run. Coming in relief to face a potent Indiana Bulls lineup, in the late stages of the game. After pitching the first day of bracket play, the RHP came in and was lights out. Exuded confidence on the bump and was able to keep his team in it. Sitting at 85-87 on the fastball, running it up to 88 with late life and arm-side run. Showed the curveball at 66-69, with depth. Woodard epitomizes the definition of a gamer and will be a must follow at Grayson in the spring after an already impressive last spring with the Rams squad from last year.

Diego Becerra, LHP, Sequoyah, 2026
Uncommitted. Infatuating look the LHP provided in his start against USA Prime. Finding his groove early and racking up the whiffs left and right. Working with a three pitch mix with the fastball sitting at 87-88, and running it up to 90 with late-life. Showing the change-up at 80-82 with late-tail. The fastball/change-up combo consistently kept batters off-balance generating heavy swing-and-miss. The curveball was shown at 75-78. High follow 2024 Future Games LHP in the 2026 class.

15u National Championship: (6/27-7/3)

Griffin Long, RHP, Sonoraville, 2026
Uncommitted. Had a solid start on Saturday using a three pitch mix of a fastball, curveball, and changeup, but mainly used his fastball and curveball and would flash his changeup at times to lefties. Ran his fastball up to 88 but sat at 84-86 with arm side run and his curveball was 72-73 with good bite. Had decent command during his outing and command will only get better as time goes on. Good solid frame at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds with plenty of room to fill out and get stronger which will only help his velocity increase. Final stat line: 3.1 innings/1 hit/3ERs/5 strikeouts.

Southeast Select: (7/11-7/16)

Maddox Waller, C/3B/1B, Sequoyah, 2026
Uncommitted. Impressive day at the plate on Thursday (7/11) morning as he continues his tear on the summer. Had a solid 2-for-3 day at the plate with a game tying RBI that was muscled into shallow left-field on a two strike count. The other knock came in his last at-bat, attacking early in the count on an outer-half breaking ball that he drove into right-center for a single. Moderately wide stance, hands held high, shifting slightly to begin his swing, generates good leverage using his size and strength to viciously hack at anything over the plate. Two-way athlete, a TE in football at 6-foot-3, 220-pounds.

Easton Bailey, 2B/RHP, St.Pius X, 2026
Uncommitted. On Saturday Bailey launched a fastball into deep LCF that went over the wall for a 2 run bomb. He generates a ton of power from the lower half and gets the foot down early and attacks. He consistently hits the ball hard and has a ton of power to all parts of the field. Projectable frame at 5’9 160 with a lot more room to fill out as he continues to develop and get stronger. Also a sub 7 runner.

Trey Windham, C/RHP, North Forsyth, 2026
Uncommitted. Very smooth mechanics with a ton of bat speed and pop from the right side. On Friday he laced a breaking ball down the line in Left Field for a loud double. Consistently likes to attack early in the count with a simple approach each time. Easy bat speed and is able to keep the barrel through the zone for a long time.

Aiden Moore, SS/RHP, Hillgrove, 2026
Uncommitted. Moore showed some wicked stuff on Sunday night. Working with a dynamic three-pitch mix the right-handed pitcher picked up eight strikeouts over 4.2 innings of work. Showing the fastball at 85-87 MPH with 2400+ RPM and an eye-opening “22 IVB. The slider sat 77-80 MPH with 2600 RPM + and the curveball at 74-77 with 2500 RPM +. Moore showed an innate feel for spin with dynamic movement patterns on the three-pitch mix. The incoming junior is poised for a breakout year and will be a must watch name at Hillgrove in the spring.

Cooper Hecklinski, OF, Walton, 2026
Uncommitted. Very good first look of ‘26 Cooper Hecklinski on Sunday. He went 3-3 with 4RBIs and a walk. Has a very simple approach at the plate as he keeps everything quiet and keeps his hands back so he can be short and quick to the ball and drive his hands through the zone. Has a good feel for the barrel as he can go to all parts of the field when hitting. Has a very good frame at 6’1” 180 pounds with plenty of room to fill out and will add plenty of power as he continues to get stronger.
