Uncommitted 2020 OF Darryl Buggs (DRB/Heritage) adds to the list of yet another DRB player who flat out balls. At 6-1, 170 pounds, he doesn’t look overly big on the field, but he’s twitchy, shows bat speed, and is constantly hunting for extra bases. If you’re on defense, it’s nerve wracking having him on the basepaths, having to constantly make sure he stops his feet. He’s dangerous when he gets on base, and with the combination of his plate discipline and speed, headaches happen quite often against him.
