Uncommitted. 6’0” 225lb large, strong frame. Had a good showing this weekend at the plate. Starts in a fairly neutral position. Does a good job of getting into his strong lower half in the load. It’s a simple and small leg lift as the timing mechanism. Cochran has a whippy barrel which plays well with the strength he has at present. There is certainly a good bit of power projection present here. Needs to cut down on the chase, as he swung at a decent number of pitches out of the zone, but that should come in time.

Uncommitted. 6-foot-1 205-pounds. First look at Cochran this spring. He stands out on the field with his physical size. He is the youngest player in the Cartersville line up, and had a big night to help the Canes roll into the sweet sixteen. He starts slightly open, and has a clean set up, and simple stride to get into a good power position. The bat starts flat, and stays through the zone throughout the swing. He has a great approach, and knows how to hit in certain situations. He had a SAC fly in game 2 that was probably the biggest run of the game. He will be a big piece of the Cartersville line up in the years to come as they graduate most of their starters. Cochran will be a high follow in the ‘25 class into the summer,
