Guilliams has really made a big jump, that was somewhat expected with the big analytical numbers he put up at last year's Super60. In a year he went from 90-92, to 93-94 in the first inning. The fastball jumps out of the hand with late action and life. The curveball though was even better, in my opinion, the best pitch from any pitcher on the weekend. It was consistently better than 2800 rpm, tight spin with feel for the late diving action. He also showed a hard changeup, which initially I thought was a two seam FB, with late action as well. A lot of present tools and upside as he is fairly young for his class.

One of the more talented pitchers in attendance, Guilliams has the size, 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, and potential to be a big time arm. He flashed mature mechanics on the mound, relieving stress on his arm and engaging the entire body in his pitches. Guilliams has tempo and a tall backside that allows him to transfer the energy from his backfoot, through the body, to the arm. He drives with the front side square, eliminating power leaks and explodes through the hips. The UNF commit topped at 93 mph, leading the event, coupling it with a 75-76 mph curveball and 79 mph slider that had sweeping action.

Lanky and athletic frame with clean arm action sitting 88-89 with his fastball, curveball 75-76 with good depth. Stays low in the zone with command of all his pitches. Quick arm speed with short arm action and delivers with ease on line to home plate.
