He clears the back side, and looks to pull and lift the baseball. There is strength and bat speed and had an exit velocity of 91 mph.

Defensively, he has solid actions, while having present strength, he has flexibility and shows the his lateral agility in his blocking skills. The pop times weren’t the best we have seen and his best of the day was 2.15, but you can see the arm strength and transfer, he topped out at 76 mph. Offensively, he was a bit out of sync in BP, but when he gets his load on time, he uses his strong lower half well and attacks the baseball. There is some length, but there is bat speed and strength and shows pull side power potential, topping out at 90 mph exit velocity.

The strength and bat speed translate to 90 mph exit velocity. Defensively, he has present athleticism, with a quick, clean transfer and throws have carry with pop times ranging form 2.0-2.08. Overall tools to be above average defender with gap to gap power.

Makes hard contact and registered an 86 mph exit velocity in the cage. Behind the plate he displayed a good hands and a strong arm which topped out at 77 mph on his throws to the bag. Clocked in at 7.63 seconds for his 60 yard dash time.

Made consistent contact and showed a feel for the barrel with multiple lines drives to the pull side and left-centerfield gap during batting practice. As he continues to mature and add to his frame, he should see a jump in power to the pull side. Registered an 84 mph exit velocity in the cage. Behind the plate he registered pop times in the 2.02-2.08 second range and his throws topping out at 77 mph down to second. He sits somewhat upright, but the hands work well and projects as an above average defensive catcher.
