The Florida Senior Games took place at UCF on August 6th and has become an event with some of the top uncommitted senior prospects across the state. Players took part in a pro-style workout followed by a game. You can check out the full statistics from the event HERE. Today we take a look at the Top 5 standouts and the Best of the Rest.

Jhan Ledezma OF / SS / Marjorie Stoneman Douglas, FL / 2020

One of the biggest winners of the day. Running 6.93 60 yard dash, 90 mph from the outfield, 91 mph exit velocity, the stats are impressive. He is an all around solid athlete who also stood out in the infield. Defensively, he can easily play multiple positions at the next level. Profiles as a corner outfield/utility infielders as the athleticism is functional. Offensively, he is confident in the box, tall and slightly open. Lets the hands work independently and creates above average bat speed  while remaining compact and level. A player who will be a very solid addition to a 2020 class.

Travis Stapleton C / 1B / South Lake, FL / 2020

Stapleton has continued to impress and surprising he is still available. He has continued to lean out his body and defensively he is well above average. Athletic receiver and blocker with catch and throw ability. Pop times ranged in the 1.95-1.98 range. Offensively, really sinks into the lower half. Can create some swing and miss in the path, but there is athleticism and bat speed. An above average defensive catcher, with offensive upside, that should be a quality addition.

Edrick Felix SS / 2B / Avant Garde Academy, FL / 2020

Another impressive winner from the Senior Games. Ran the days best, 6.76 60 yard dash. The athleticism really plays defensively, and the actions are easy with above average range and hands and should be able to stick at short in college. Offensively, he has a wide, balanced base. Simple, but aggressive with present bat speed and strength, with more to come. A very twitchy athlete who has  more room to grow and a high ceiling.

Zac Calhoon OF / 3B / Venice, FL / 2020

The 6-foot-1, 195 pound frame stands out in the uniform and he immediately shows some present athleticism. Running a 6.82 60 yard dash, he also showed ability to range well in the outfield while also having accurate throws with some carry topping out at 85 mph. Offensively, the left-handed hitter has a balanced setup and simple swing in which he really uses the lower half. Uphill path and aggressive to the pull side, there is power potential and had an exit velocity of 86 mph. Overall, there is still projection and a lot to like with the all around athleticism.
