10/15/17- Oklahoma State recruit. Stood out in the field with range, quick feet, and strong throws across the diamond. Makes the tough, off balance throws with accuracy to the bag. At the plate he has a compact swing with above average bat speed and strength. Tripled twice during gameplay. Plenty of athleticism. Although his natural position is the infield, he also caught with a 1.9 pop time and was very intriguing there. He is clearly a player and very versatile. Also was impressive on the mound. Short, quick arm with a fastball ranging from 88-91 mph and a short hard slider at 89-82 mph.

08/26/17- Oklahoma State recruit. At the plate he shows a relaxed, balanced stance with confidence from the right side. Short, direct path to the ball with above average bat speed. Good hand eye coordination and squares the ball up. Ball jumps off the bat and had multiple line drives all over during batting practice. On the mound, Morrill showed a quick arm and attacked hitters as his fastball sat 89-90 mph with life along with a hard 79-80 mph slider. The athleticism really shows with his versatility to play multiple positions.

08/20/17- Oklahoma State recruit. He is athletic with a lot of quick twitch. On the mound he has a short quick arm with his fastball at 87-89 mph with late, riding life. He also features a hard, swing and miss slider at 82 mph. Defensively, he is rangy and the action work in the infield. His swing is short and level and has a feel for the barrel. Interesting two-way guy to follow.

10/29/16- Committed to Oklahoma State University.

09/17/16- The 5-foot-11, 160 pound athlete showed potential at many positions.  He is a very good athlete that showed the ability to catch and play infield at the next level.  At the plate Morrill showcased his good bat speed producing an exit velo of 87 MPH. He barrelled up balls for hard line drives in batting practice and hit one off of the left field foul pole.  His arm is another strength of his as he showcased a throwing speed of 86 MPH from the shortstop position.  He also showcased that he can play both third and SS with good athletic actions and smooth hands.  Morrill had a few nice at-bats throughout the day including a double in the left-center field gap.  Morrill is a gamer and the type of player every coach has one of. He hustles on and off the field and ran the bases with a lot of energy.
