10/20/18 - LSU commit. Had two hits in a playoff loss Sunday and scored two runs. He has a short, simple swing and consistently stays direct to the ball, allowing him to hit to all fields.
10/12/18 - LSU commit. 5-foot-10, 170-pound right-handed infielder, athletic frame, strength throughout. Simple approach at the plate, barrel stays level, drives the ball from gap-to-gap, maintains great balance through contact.Did a good job repeating during BP, sprayed line drives to all fields. Defensively, showed quick hands good body control on run throughs, arm action works short from a mostly over-the-top slot, can use multiple angles.
03/07/18- Louisiana State recruit. Currently stands at 5-foot-11, 170 pounds with a projectable, athletic frame. Shows above average instincts all over the field and really stood out at the plate where he had multiple run scoring hits on the night which included an RBI triple that was laced into the left-center field gap. He shows above average bat speed, quick hands, and a level path through the zone with a feel for the barrel. In the field, he shows athletic actions and takes efficient angles to the ball with a strong and accurate throw across the diamond.
9/17/16- Committed to Louisiana State University.
12/10/15- 5-foot-8, 155-pounder who is the son of former major leaguer Miguel Cairo. Fields the ball well with accurate and on line throws across the diamond. Displayed some quick bat speed and ball jumps off the bat. Ran a 7.19 60. Hustles. Toolsy player.
