Bichette

05/28/16- Arizona State commit who stands at 6-foot, 200 pounds with a strong, athletic, and physical body with loose and natural actions all over the field. Bichette really helped himself at FACA as he ran a 6.76 in the 60, showed the hands/footwork/strength to stay at shortstop, and had one of the better offensive performances at the event. He has rhythm and confidence in the box, gets a great separation for his load, and uses his lower half very well. Plus bat speed with a nice swing plane through the zone and the ball explodes off his bat. He hit a home run in the game off a 94 mph fastball to dead center field that got out in a hurry. Look for Bichette to be a fairly high pick in next week’s draft.

1/10/15 FTB tryout - Continues to show why he's at the top of his class. Showed good footwork, soft hands, and a solid arm. May have to make a position change to a corner but it won't matter because his bat will play.  At the plate he showed good hands with a good load and great separation that allows him to create excellent bat speed and torque. Great lower half, drives the back side through the ball. Good bat plane, and power to all fields. Very confident. Has no fear. Is a risk taker. Not afraid to fail. Very confident hitter with aggressive approach. Attacks ball. Doesn't get cheated. Good baseball instincts.

10/30/14 - Power bat from the right side with very advanced approach for young kid. Explosive bat speed. Good actions in infield with enough arm strength to play the left side of the infield. Will be a good 2016 draft.
