Christian is an athletic RHP with a great pitcher's body and an outstanding right arm. His fast ball has some boring action and he maintained velocity throughout at 91-93 touching 94. He has an over the top east delivery with a slider that sat at around 85-87 , and a devastating split finger that stayed between 82-85 with sharp, late breaking action, depth and good vertical movement. The split is an outstanding swing and miss pitch. Christian has the command to throw all three pitches for strikes and attacks the strike zone. His ability to throw with velocity and then to have plus a breaking ball which should provide him an opportunity for great success at the next level. A clean delivery and repeatable mechanics should are a plus.
The number two player in Colorado’s class of 2022, Christian Foutch is another high ceiling player on this list who looks the part at 6-foot-3, 190-pounds. We’ve had Chatfield right-hander up to 94 mph with good spin rates and he’s looked like a real power arm over the years. His slider works 80-82 and although there’s some inconsistencies, it has shown the potential to become a swing-and-miss pitch down the road. Foutch also mixes in a changeup at 80-82 and there’s early feel there for the pitch. With the size, athleticism on the mound and the arm, Foutch will be a fun arm to watch as the high school season rolls around.
Uncommitted 2022 right-hander from Chatfield. PBR Colorado had the opportunity to see Christian in our December Colorado Recruits Scout Day. Foutch did not go unnoticed then and looked great again on Saturday. In his two inning appearance, the fastball was 92-94 mph and had +arm side run. Athletic body with attacking repeatable delivery. Throws a splitter that has slider action at 84-86. Would consider Christian one of the top uncommitted arms in the entire '22 class.
Narrow set up with small side step into a rhythm tap where hands go over the head. High controlled leg lift with small coil into a closed landing. Long, high 3⁄4 arm action and effortless delivery. Plus sink on off speed. It's a tall frame on Foutch that will add velocity with strength. Fastball sat 86-88 with good movement and the splitter was 80-82. Foutch is a top follow in the 2022 class and the ceiling is high for the Chatfield product.

Hit: Right-handed hitter with tall, athletic set up. It's a short stride and smooth load with a small coil in his upper body. The bat is explosive and he does a good job staying through the ball. He shows pop to all fields, displaying a strong, two-handed finish. Athletic, powerful hitter and a player you'll want to follow.
Exit Velo: 97 mph.
Power: Power potential.
Arm: 81 across the infield
