PBR NORTHERN CA UNDERCLASS GAMES
Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Room in his upper body frame to fill out, has lower body build and proportions to shape some physicality Hit: LHH. Tall set-up w/slight back knee crouch, slightly open w/pinched knees/feet, calm knee lift during load gets him on the way to on-line stride, quiet still hands while lower body is setting up the swing, could develop a bit more hands/feet rhythm, good bat speed w/some life in the hands, as hips were starting to fire the hands were still drifting away from the body which can be a good thing if the timing of that movement is a little earlier, was just a hair off creating inconsistent contact. Looks to have plenty of tools to project as a quality high school hitter. Power: 85 mph EV off tee Arm: 3B velo - 76 mph (R) - Arm strength is a tool for him that could develop into above average, loose arm action and he's confident with the arm Defense: Good footwork at 3rd base stood out during sim game portion, calm feet, range is adequate given his footspeed/agility, read ball well and showed quality footwork in getting off throws through there was an extra step to get rid of ball going to his right. Nice pre-pitch actions. Run: 7.62 60-yard
