1st & 3rd BASEMEN:
Scouting Report
Body: 5-foot-10, 200-pounds. Wider frame, still maturing body, chance to shape a physical build
Hit: LHH. Fairly tall set-up with slightly open front foot and weight shifted to the back, calm knee/foot lift early in the load, hands work well, swing plane is good and should provide opportunities to drive the gaps w/occasional power, middle of field approach, one of sim game ABs resulted in a single through the middle. Good rhythm, confident in the box.
Power: 84 mph EV off tee
Arm: 1B velo - 66 mph (R) - Arm action is clean, made accurate throws to 2nd base and 3rd base on the bunt play, obviously developing more arm strength is an area of he can improve
Defense: Understands the nuances of playing 1st base, good foot and body position when receiving throws, worked to both sides of the bag well on throws from INFs, stays below the ball well and showed soft hands on the short hop pick. Ground balls were fielded a but toward his palm/wrist so working to sweet spot the ball better is an area to improve.
Run: 8.59 60-yard
Scouting Report
Body: 6-foot-2, 155-pounds. Lean and long, excellent frame for future size/strength gains
Hit: RHH. Tall balanced set-up w/slightly pinched knees, slightly lower hand slot just off right chest, compact stroke for a tall young man, lively body and lively swing projects very favorably as he develops, short stroke to the ball, clean lower body mechanics w/good hips, could work to stay in the zone a little longer through contact, but all in all, lots of talent here and positive projection here to develop power and a swing that has good bat control. Showed 1st pitch aggressiveness and both game ABs resulted in pull side contact (6-3, F7).
Power: 83 mph EV off tee
Arm: 1B velo - 72 mph / OF velo - 73 mph (R) - Solid exit of ball from hand, arm strength should continue to improve as he gains strength, made accurate feeds to the bags while at 1st base
Defense: At 1st base showed light feet and good agility, showed adjustable hands on unpredictable hops, consistently gloved ground balls in the sweet spot, good angles to put himself in position to get off a quick throw, worked a little high when receiving throws from INFs
Run: 7.49 60-yard
Scouting Report
Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Average frame given his age, wider through hip areas, still a maturing young body
Hit: RHH. Has some swag and confidence in the box, balanced set-up with wider feet & knees inside the feel, calm easy knee lift during load, good timing of foot strike and hip rotation, hands worked well staying behind the ball and being in position to fire when recognizing a strike, there is more hand/bat speed than the EV reflects to working to stay connected better at contact is an area of improvement for him, generally a pull-side looking approach w/some swing length that resulted in both sim game ABs going to the right side (F9, 4-3)
Power: 75 mph EV off tee
Arm: 1B velo - 75 mph (R) - Short arm action allows him to get ride of ball quickly, there is some arm strength that will be of benefit for throws beating runners to bags and letting go of the throw with confidence
Defense: Good set-up to the ball as he approaches GBs, gloved ball well, nice footwork during transfer to throw, range limited by present footspeed so angles and reads and instincts will all have to be above average to compensate, worked bag with confidence
Run: 9.29 60-yard
Scouting Report
Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Room in his upper body frame to fill out, has lower body build and proportions to shape some physicality
Hit: LHH. Tall set-up w/slight back knee crouch, slightly open w/pinched knees/feet, calm knee lift during load gets him on the way to on-line stride, quiet still hands while lower body is setting up the swing, could develop a bit more hands/feet rhythm, good bat speed w/some life in the hands, as hips were starting to fire the hands were still drifting away from the body which can be a good thing if the timing of that movement is a little earlier, was just a hair off creating inconsistent contact. Looks to have plenty of tools to project as a quality high school hitter.
Power: 85 mph EV off tee
Arm: 3B velo - 76 mph (R) - Arm strength is a tool for him that could develop into above average, loose arm action and he's confident with the arm
Defense: Good footwork at 3rd base stood out during sim game portion, calm feet, range is adequate given his footspeed/agility, read ball well and showed quality footwork in getting off throws through there was an extra step to get rid of ball going to his right. Nice pre-pitch actions.
Run: 7.62 60-yard
Scouting Report
Body: 6-foot-0, 220-pounds. Thick powerful frame, short levers that are good for hitting
Hit: RHH. Wide base at set-up, very slightly open, calm and efficient swing actions, short stride w/powerful hip rotation, works well from the ground up to generate power, short powerful stroke that gets him direct to the ball & creates outstanding/consistent impact at contact, gets barrel into the zone quickly and accelerates it with plus bat speed, patient disciplined approach in sim game ABs, drove LCF gap for double & laced a single through the middle. Profiles as an impact bat in a run-producing spot in the line-up.
Power: 92 mph EV off tee
Arm: 1B velo - 70 mph (R) - Quick confident snap throws, arm works easily if not all that powerfully, accurate feeds to the bags
Defense: Light bouncy feet, very confident with the glove, agility is quite good, soft hands and efficient actions around the bag, though the range may never be average or above he looks like he will cleanly handle all he gets to and be a quality defender at 1st base. With a bit more arm he could even make a run at playing 3rd with those good feet of his.
Run: 8.21 60-yard
Scouting Report
Body: 6-foot-2, 175-pounds. Long lanky body, ample room w/in his frame for size/strength gains
Hit: RHH. Balanced/athletic looking set-up, holds hands lower just off chest w/relaxed elbows, small stride w/minimal load to backside, could work to get back knee over back foot better, some barrel tip toward pitcher before tipping back creates some inconsistency in barrel contact, there is hand/bat speed, there are raw tools to hit though there is some cleaning up to do, generally a pull-side approach and wants to gets his arms extended.
Power: 80 mph EV off tee
Arm: 3B velo - 76 mph (R) - Loose and quick arm, arm action brings ball to his waist that & could shorten up as a 3rd baseman and eliminate some tailing action across the diamond, plenty of arm strength and there is more coming.
Defense: Agile feet, good reads, plays on the move well with soft hands and tools to play average to above defense at 3rd base, confident actions and plays ground balls athletically.
Run: 7.59 60-yard
Scouting Report
Body: 5-foot-11, 235-pounds. Big frame, presently heavy set w/power & strength through upper arms and shoulders
Hit: LHH. Tall relaxed set-up with confident & rhythmic pre-pitch actions, hands held high, good control of the barrel while creating energy with the bat, very slightly open, knee lift w/small toe tap though also showed knee lift that led immediately to the stride, sizable stride but stays behind the ball well, good pitch recognition & ability to POUND the ball to all fields, showed swing adjustability during sim game ABs & outstanding barrel control while flicking a double to the oppo gap while employing a strong 2-strike approach, stays connected on way to ball w/explosive barrel finish through contact. Has presently usable power & plenty more to come. Chance to hit for both average and power and anchor the middle of a line-up.
Power: 93 mph EV off tee
Arm: 1B velo - 70 mph (L) - Short arm action that works well for getting off quick throws to tight quarters as runners approach 2nd base, adequate arm strength but a confident thrower
Defense: Soft feet w/soft hands & very good glove skills, excellent reads on ground balls, gets rid of the ball quickly, worked back to the bag with good footwork on 3-6-3, has agility w/in his range, instincts appear to be good, works well below the ball and all in all surely looks to have strong defensive skills.
Run: 8.45 60-yard

Scouting Report
Body: 5-foot-9, 165-pounds. Sizable frame, still a maturing body, could be a powerful young man
Hit: LHH. Wide set-up, has rhythm in the box, starts open then has slight knee lift prior to getting the stride back in-line, flat stroke, gets in the zone early and stays there well, quiet head & nice body control, there is some power projectability in his stroke, especially given his youth
Power: 80 mph EV off tee
Arm: 3B velo - 68 mph (R) - Short arm action that fits for 3rd base, can learn to create more power for his arm starting from his feet/legs, the raw arm strength will have to go up to stay at 3B
Defense: Starts low, sees ball & reads hops well, took nice angles, range is limited by the raw footspeed, gloved each ball well and got ride of it in a timely manner.
Run: 8.29 60-yard
