Bay Area World Series 2022 - Uncommitted; Long and lean, rangy frame, lanky, versatile player with abilities to contribute at both 1B and in a corner OF spot, EV up to 95 mph with sound middle of field approach and ability to get into RCF gap on a fairly regular basis from having seen him in multiple events with game action, competitive hitter with good approach, 70% hard hit % (balls over 90 mph), 90% sweet spot %, 358' max estimated distance, was not present for defensive workout but has shown 77 mph INF arm and 85 mph OF arm in previous PBR events with a 7.22 60-yd. Gut feel is that bat will play at some point at the four-year level, whether immediately after HS or after a couple more development years.

Body: Strong, lean body, mobile with balance.  6’3”, 180 pounds.

Hit: Stands tall with a slight open stance. Hands over shoulder, with bat waggle.  With stride to pitcher, hands drop into hitting position. Lands balanced, bat stays through zone long time and through the ball.

Power: 92.15 exit speed. Drives ball to all fields

Arm:  OF velo of 85 mph, and 77 mph across the infield

Defense: Outfield, moves quick to ball, fields off of his left foot, quick transfer to throwing hand.  Aggressive through ball.  First base, easy movements, good feet to ball, different angles to throw from, soft hands and picks at first.

Run: Ran a 7.22 (60 yard)

Body: 6-foot-3, 175-pound long and lengthy frame with present athleticism.
Hit: (RHH) Begins in a tall stance with a quick load, then uses a short stride. Slight barrel tip in his load and dips into his legs. Hands get into a good launch position. Above average bat speed. Level finish, flat swing (71% on plane efficiency). Pull side approach.
Power: 92 mph exit velocity.
Defense:  (IF) At 1B showed soft hands, smooth footwork especially on DPs. (OF) In the OF showed sure hands, aggressive actions, and fluid exchanges. Fields the ball out front and movements laterally were athletic.
Arm: 77 mph infield velocity. 79 mph outfield velocity. Longer arm action out of a higher ¾ slot, decent accuracy. DP throws were made quick and efficiently. OF throws were on a line and most were accurate one hops.
Speed: 7.22 (60-yard).

Positional Profile: 1B/OF
Body: 6-3, 170-pounds. Long lanky body type, projectable frame.
Defense: Displays above average actions/skills at 1st base, works bag well, athletic feet, plays below the ball, reads hops well, sets up to throw efficiently, agile defender; charges ball aggressively in OF, big crow hop, agility plays out there as a corner OF profile.
Arm: RH. INF - 75 mph. OF - 77 mph. Loose arm, throws confidently at 1B on feeds, quick release in INF, fairly compact arm stroke; longer arm stroke in OF, some cupping as arm gets deep and a bit behind his body.
Hit: RHH. Tall relaxed set-up, vertical barrel set, slight knee pinch, hands start deep and gain a bit more depth in load, sizable stride with crash to contact timing. Flat plane, aggressive top hand through contact, occasionally in/out of zone a bit early, has hand speed and strength, good barrel awareness; 50% line drive/fly balls, 63% on plane efficiency, 14.8 max rotational acceleration.
Power: 87 mph exit velocity in BP via Trackman. 20.4 max hand speed, 62.8 max bat speed (60.73 avg).
Run: 7.36 runner in the 60.

Bay Area World Series 2020 (BAWS) - Uncommitted; Long rangy athlete, the offensive talent shows up now & will shine brighter w/physical strength gains. Drives ball in middle of field while staying short and controlled to contact. Deft defensive skills at 1st base also w/corner OF talents. 

Defense: Corner outfield spot could have most value, first base ability gives him versatility. 
Arm: RH.  INF - 72 mph. OF - 78 mph. Arm looks more comfortable in the outfield where his throwing velocity was 6 mph higher, lets his arm work more freely and lets it fly. 
Hit: RHH. Tall setup with a large base, slightly pinched knees, bat waggle in attempt to generate bat speed.  TrackMan line drive averages; 221.9 ft - 17.3° launch angle, 87 mph exit velocity.
Power: 85 mph exit velocity from the tee. 
Run: 7.42 runner in the 60. 

Positional Profile: 1B/OF - Performance helped him earn a place in California State Games.
Body: 6-3, 165-pounds. Long lean athletic body, highly projectable.
Defense: Closes on ball well in OF, light feet. Moves confidently around bag at 1B, creates good lanes to make throws to 2nd base, works below ball, soft glove.
Arm: RH. INF - 72 mph. OF - 78 mph. Long loose arm action w/depth on backside from OF. Similar at 1B but less depth, throws aggressively.
Hit: RHH. Balanced, slight knee pinch, drops hands into lower slot, good trigger. Projects to have power gap to gap, tight stroke, controls barrel, finishes swing.
Power: 84 mph exit velocity.
Run: 7.39 runner in the 60.

Body: 6-foot-2, 155-pounds. Lean and long, excellent frame for future size/strength gains
Hit: RHH. Tall balanced set-up w/slightly pinched knees, slightly lower hand slot just off right chest, compact stroke for a tall young man, lively body and lively swing projects very favorably as he develops, short stroke to the ball, clean lower body mechanics w/good hips, could work to stay in the zone a little longer through contact, but all in all, lots of talent here and positive projection here to develop power and a swing that has good bat control. Showed 1st pitch aggressiveness and both game ABs resulted in pull side contact (6-3, F7).
Power: 83 mph EV off tee
Arm: 1B velo - 72 mph / OF velo - 73 mph (R) - 1st BASE - arm strength should continue to improve as he gains strength, made accurate feeds to the bags while at 1st base / OUTFIELD - Solid exit of ball from hand, cleaning up the approach to the ball with his feet and getting rid of it a little quick will be areas of improvement.
Defense: At 1st base showed light feet and good agility, showed adjustable hands on unpredictable hops, consistently gloved ground balls in the sweet spot, good angles to put himself in position to get off a quick throw, worked a little high when receiving throws from INFs / OUTFIELD -Trusting his athleticism on approach to the balls to field was better on his last two throws home after he started to get feel for how ball was being hit to him. Projects as a corner (LF) down the road w/footspeed and arm strength that fit best there.
