Hall’s bat came alive the last couple of days at the Best of the West with multiple barreled balls to RCF for singles. His speed is an asset on the bases, also stealing multiple bags within the first couple of pitches. In PBR Canada’s last game, Hall jumped on the mound, and he impressed. Very raw, but the arm speed and strength plays on the mound, with his 85-88 mph FB that generated tons of swing-and-miss, with developing secondary pitches. In his one inning of work, he struck out the side with ease. The recent Bossier Parish commit is known for his defensive tools and speed, but there is definitely something on the mound, as well.

Hall is one of the top uncommitted players in the country and he seemed to provide us with an exciting moment every single game. In pool play we saw several highlight reel plays up the middle from Hall and then in the first elimination game, he blasted a home run along with a triple. An exciting athlete at the shortstop position who had several chances to flash his arm strength this past week. Currently with the Junior National Team in the Dominican Republic, it will be interesting to see where Hall commits over the next few months.

The right-handed hitting shortstop has always had athletic attributes and has lots of room to add strength gains to his 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame. The defense is going to play with Hall as the athleticism stands out and can make routine and highlight plays with tempo and confidence. Hall shows bat to ball skills and will have some sneaky power that works to his pull side. Strength is a big part to his game and once he adds more, we can really envision him taking off and making big strides and start to really impact the ball offensively.
