Thin athletic body, still maturing, room to hold more weight in 6-foot, 140-pound frame. Worked out as a two-way player. Right-handed hitter, sets up in an exaggerated open stance with bent knees, bringing front foot to square consistently. Active load with some extra moving parts. Uses a mid-pull approach with short swing, gets on plane early & efficiently with solid extension. Bat speed & overall pop should improve with added strength, 88.69mph exit velocity via trackman. Athletic feet in the infield, one of his best attributes currently. Clean easy footwork with sure hands. Accurate throws to the bag with more arm strength coming out of the frame than you would think at 80mph. Also worked out on the mound, using an easy delivery, slightly upper-body dominant at times. Threw with short arm action from a ¾ arm slot. FB sat 77-79, topping at 80.43 via Trackman with above average arm side movement. CH also had ASR at 69-71mph. CV wasn’t thrown the hardest but showed above average spin in relation to its velocity at 61-62mph with gradual depth.

5-foot-11 140-pounds, high waisted with long limbs, skinny frame, room to hold significantly more weight. Squared base with balanced setup. Hands start high with vertical barrel, loading slightly down & back. Toe tap trigger, getting tall at contact. Balance through finish. Middle approach with a flat swing plane. Above average contact at 79mph exit velocity. Above average footwork showing some sneaky fluidity. Ran a 7.23 60-yard dash. Short arm action across the diamond at 76mph. Plays through the ball. Should improve across the board as he starts to fill out physically.
5/20/18 - 5-foot-8, 115-pound frame. Stood out offensively with on-plane swing and impressive 83 mph exit velocity for present size. Hits from balanced setup with virtually no stride, but creates solid base. Sets up with hands deep and keeps them there, making exit velo even more impressive as he doesn’t coil or separate. Covers ground with long strides on the infield. Posted 68 mph infield velocity and 7.53 60-yard dash. Physical development and arm strength will determine future home.
