OF Rashad Robinson (2021, Memphis) is just another Division 1 hitter that is packed into the loaded Mobile Christian lineup in 2021. In a high-scoring affair for the Leopards, Robinson was the unlucky victim of hitting balls right at people in this contest. Regardless, the Memphis signee put together some quality at-bats that the box score wouldn’t tell you. Drove in a run in the 1st inning on a RBI groundout, lined out to shortstop in another at-bat, and two more balls hard in this look in the middle of the order. Starts in a slightly open stance before coming back to square and fires a quick lower-half. Swing allows him to hit more line drives, but has also hit for power this year. A high-level athlete, Robinson can also cover tons of ground patrolling center field and can “go get it” with the best of them. Another key piece offensively for Mobile Christian that’s leading the way in his final year of high school ball.

The stance at the plate is just slightly open and he does a nice job of getting the front foot down on time for the barrel to follow. Showed a mostly pull side approach. Robinson did a nice job with his top hand, staying through the hitting zone with the barrel and finished fairly high with the swing. The athleticism in the OF obviously jumps out and the arm strength is there (86 mph) as he was as impressive with throws to the plate as anyone at the event. Showed a quick transfer and throws stayed on line and were ultra accurate.

Big standout at the event that has added some size and strength since we last saw him. No doubting the OF actions with the glove and nice, nimble footwork. The arm strength has really improved as he was up to 86 mph with his throws and showed a quick transfer. At the plate, he showed a very disciplined approach as he stayed exclusively gap to gap during his BP round. Slightly open stance with a tall set up and does a nice job with the hands and has an explosive lower half (88 exit velo off the tee). Can also run (6.86 60)
Rashad Robinson (2021, OF, Mobile Christian) 5’10 140 lbs- 7.10.18- an athletic outfielder, he showcased solid skills throughout. His OF velo was 83 and he attacks the ball in the OF, has a clean arm slot and really works through the ball. He ran a 7.34 60 yard dash. Offensively his exit velo was 80 as he showed a balanced solid swing with a quiet load showcasing some pop.
