Alabama Class of 2021 Rankings

The 2021 class in Alabama is led by several elite arms but the class also boasts some power hitting position players as 9 players from the state are ranked in the Prep Baseball Report Class of 2021 Top 250. Our initial list of the top 2021 players in Alabama is led by Florence HS RHP Grant Taylor (LSU commit) who has continued to develop each year with a low 90’s fastball and advanced off speed stuff. Taylor is ranked #8 nationally. His future teammate at LSU, RHP Samuel Dutton of Westbrook Christian comes in at #2 (#39 nationally) after a tremendous summer pitching for the USA Baseball 15U national team. Dutton sits in the upper 80’s-low 90’s  and has command of three advanced pitches. Another big time arm, LHP Brady Garcia of Spanish Fort (Alabama commit) checks in at #3 on our initial list and #99 nationally. A 6’5 lefty that is ultra projectible and will only get better as he continues to add strength. Grant Taylor’s teammate at Florence HS, RHP Cason Henry (Miami, FL commit) is our #4 player in the state (#107 nationally). Henry has long loose action in his arm and and can really create nightmares for hitters with his electric fastball and an already advanced very tight breaking ball. A power hitting 3B comes in at #5, Bob Jones 3B Slate Alford (Auburn commit) is also ranked #108 nationally. He is big time hitter that has enormous juice at the plate.
