As we creep towards the high school season, we want to take a look at teams from across the state. Today we stay in the east and head to Suffolk to break down what we could expect from the Nansemond-Suffolk Saints. 

  Classification: VISAA Division II     2022 Record: 14-8

Nansemond-Suffolk returns the arms of Jackson Runyon (Virginia Tech), reclass arm Christian James, Connor McGhee, and Jase Howell. Runyon is their top end arm in terms of talent and stuff and should be staff ace. The offense should be paced by seniors Ty Howlett and Jase Howell and could use some help with producing run support for the staff. The Saints have depth on the mound, but they will need to pick up the pace in run production versus the premium arms that they will face as they get into the playoffs.
