McGhee is 6-1 with a lankier athletic frame that has plenty of projection left. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, long free quick arm action and normal effort to his delivery. Shoulders are uphill and closed, lands closed with a fall off finish. Fastball was 77-82, touching 83, with some downward plane and a bit of late run. Curveball was 63-64 with some armspeed and sharp hard 11/5 break to it. Change-up was 71-72 with some armspeed and some late fade to it.
VA/DC State Games
McGhee is 6-1 with a lankier athletic frame that has some strength present and plenty of projection left to it. On the mound, he throws from a high three-quarters arm slot, breaks long before coming in tight for a very short free arm action and some effort to his delivery. Drop and drive delivery, shoulders are level and closed, lands closed with an athletic finish. Fastball was 75-78, touching 79, with some boring action to armside. Curveball was 65-66 with some armspeed and gradual 11/5 break to it, some shape, chance to tighten into a good pitch.
