In two days, some of the top talent in Texas will meet in Tomball to compete in the PBR Texas All-State Games. The event will feature players from all four high school classes, including 2018 & 2019 grads, along with a select few 2020 & 2021 grads.

There are a number of highly touted arms that will be in attendance on Saturday, including a number of left-handers. 2019 LHP Mason Brandenberger (Clifton HS) not only plays football in the fall, but he also has ice in his veins with a solid two-pitch mix. He was dominant last week in the Underclass Games and can spin a breaking ball in any count. 2019 LHP/1B Jack Hattrup (Plano West) is a projectable 6-foot-4 left-handed pitcher with a high ceiling and good feel for off-speed. 2019 LHP Joseph Wolf (Liberty Christian HS) is a strike-throwing machine with a three pitch mix. We have seen 2019 LHP Austin Teel (College Station HS) run his fastball up to 86 mph with plus changeup and feel for a curveball. 2019 LHP Brady Putnik (Stratford HS) is a 6-foot-7 left-hander with a high ceiling. 2021 1B/LHP Jordan Viars (Reedy HS) is a 6-foot-3 freshman with strong all-around tools. 2019 LHP Tye Sampson (Guyer HS) is 6-foot-5 with a clean arm swing.

2019 RHP/OF Ryan Bogusz (Lone Star HS) is an athletic two-way player, and the right-hander has made consistent climbs in velocity this fall. The sinker/slider guy was 85-87 mph last time out, with a 72-75 mph slider. 2018 RHP Jace Hutchins (College Station HS) is an uncommitted senior with a high ceiling and a strong, projectable frame at 6-foot-4, 205-pounds. The right-hander has good movement and arm side run on his fastball, and shows great feel for a changeup with heavy action. 2020 C/RHP Beckett Vine (St. John’s HS) has fast-twitch tools and a quick arm, currently ranked No. 26 in the 2020 class.
