Inside the Overall Rankings: Texas 2020

With the 2020 Overall Rankings being updated, it’s time recap where the Texas class of 2020 has landed heading into their senior year and leading up to the 2020 MLB Draft.

This Texas class has proven to be another talented class with 15 guys in the Top 100, including Texas commit Jared Kelly coming in at No. 6. Amongst the Top 400, 8 players made significant jumps in this year’s rankings, but none bigger the TCU commit Cam Brown who jumped 95 spots to No. 17. Brown made a sizeable impression at the Area Code Games in front of National Supervisor Nathan Rode and National Crosschecker Shooter Hunt. Coming in at No. 18 is Texas commit Tanner Witt. TCU commit Elijah Nunez jumped 50 spots to No. 49. After the season TCU commit Braxton Pearson had, a climb from No. 468 to No.79 in the rankings was expected. Texas Tech commits Levi Wells and Chase Hampton both make jumps, with Wells at No. 84 and Hampton coming in at No. 118. Oklahoma State commit Orlando Salinas checks in at No. 87. Rounding out the Top 100 is North Carolina commit Jack Riedel who comes in at No. 96.
