Inside the 2021 State Rankings: RHP

TEXAS - On Monday the updated Texas 2021 State Rankings were released. In the latest installment of the rankings there was some movement within the top ten and several players making significant jumps. At first glance at the list it becomes evident that this 2021 class is absolutely loaded with talented right-handed arms. Although this has become the norm over the past years, the depth in this class is what stands out. Running down the list the talent exceeds well past tenth spot, with South Alabama recruit Justin Barry-Smith at No.11 who’s recently seen big velo jumps over the past and has been up to 93 this summer. At No.12 is North Carolina recruit is Alec Grossman, Grossman a Future Games participant in 2019 has proven himself as one of the right-handers in the state. Grossman is an undersized RHP that features a FB up to 92 in short stints with a power BB off of it, tough-nosed competitor. Another player that has shown well on the mound this summer is recent Texas A&M recruit Will Maynard. Maynard was 89-91, T93 with ASR, SL 79-82 w/ side-to-side action & CB 72-75 w/ power curve action.

Caedmon Parker RHP / The Woodlands Christian, TX / 2021It was just a matter of time till the Texas Christian recruit Parker established himself as one of the arms in this class, and it all clicked this summer. A player that has it all and that could continue to great strides moving forward. "Natural, loose, athletic arm.
