Max Semler
North Texas Scouting Director

TEXAS - Over the weekend of September, 20 - September, 22, we hosted the Upperclass State Games at Weatherford College where we saw some of the top 2025 & 2026 players in the State. The weekend kicked off on Friday night with a workout for position players. They ran 60's, threw from defensive positions, and ended the night with BP. Saturday and Sunday consisted of gameplay where the pitchers had their TrackMan data recorded. This event featured a strong group of players from top to bottom and that showed throughout the entire weekend. Today, we take a look at the scouting reports from each infielder in attendance at the workout on Friday night.

Body: 5-10, 177-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Will have solid build in future.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Linear movement to back foot, does a solid job of using lower 1/2 in swing. Hands/barrel in good launch position. Solid job of taking hands/ barrel into hitting zone. Pull approach present, can improve using all fields. Upside to hit ability. 67.1 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 86.4 mph. 365' max distance. Opportunities present for adjustments. Overall solid hit set up, pull approach presently hinders consistency of hard contact.
Arm: RH. INF-90 mph. Arm works fine with carry present to throws. The only knock against arm is arm action is little long, would like to see more compact circle.

Body: 5-7, 153-pounds. Good frame/build to add strength.
Hit: RHH. Lands slightly closed after stride. Rotational back foot, does a solid job of getting rotated and using lower 1/2. Feel he can drive foot forward some for slight linear movement forward and fully access lower 1/2 in swing increasing impact. If not comfortable with linear move, will be fine. Some length to swing with barrel starting wrapped. Hands take solid path to hitting zone, barrel works around body some adding length. Would recommend not getting barrel starting that wrapped and work to have barrel take direct path to zone. Pull type swing is a result of path that barrel takes initially. 69.9 mph bat speed with 18 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 94 max exit velocity, averaged 87.3 mph. 324' max distance. Hit over power with upside to hit grade. Love the line drive contact. Opportunities for swing adjustments present. Believer that he will make adjustments.

Hands are solid fielding, feet work well thru fielding process. Shows avg body control and agility. Fringe avg foot speed/quickness.
ATH: 7.33 runner in the 60. 1.77 and 4.07 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs hard. 27.50 max vertical.

Easton Autrey 3B / 1B / Corsicana, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: 3B/1B LHH/Corner Inf…Will continue to add strength. Shows ability to impact baseball with hard contact, can improve location recognition and using all fields. Will have hard contact and power. Solid defender with good hands. Would not discount 3rd at this time, enough arm strength present to play 3rd. Looking for foot quickness to improve in future to allow for potential option at 3rd.
Body: 6-5, 225-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength in future. Solid build in future as he matures physically and adds strength.
Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Does a solid job of using lower 1/2 in swing with rotational back foot. Solid balance at plate. Barrel/hands start in good position to hit. Body: 5-10, 174-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Will have good build with maturity and added strength.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Nice job of using lower 1/2 in swing with rotational back foot. Simple, good swing without a lot of moving parts. Hands push back with stride, barrel wraps, creating length to swing. Long swing path to zone with pull approach. Would like to see smaller separation with hands during stride, barrel not get as wrapped. Can work to take more direct path to hitting zone and work to use all fields. 70.5 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 84.4 mph. 344' max distance. Like solid line drive he creates at times. Opportunities for adjustments present, upside to bat/power combo with adjustments. Chance to develop in impactful hitter.
Arm: RH. INF-76 mph. Arm works well. Fair arm speed. No momentum to feet when throwing hinders current velo now. Needs long toss program to increase arm speed and raw arm strength.

Gage Belknap 1B / RHP / Hebron, TX / 2025

Positional Profile: 1B/RHP RHH/1B…will continue to add strength. Upside to bat/power with chance to be impactful hitter with adjustments. Defensively solid player at 1st. Looks the part, has tools. Can he make adjustments taking advantage of tools?
Body: 6-3, 214-pounds. Good build with solid lower 1/2. Will add strength in future.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Rotational back foot, does a good job of getting lower 1/2 in swing. Hands/barrel in solid position to launch. Long swing with uphill plane. Hands initial movement is down, barrel has scoop swing, bars lead arm slightly. Bat/hand speed present. Would recommend working to have hands take more direct path to zone along with barrel. Work to back spin baseball hitting line drives. 75.1 mph bat speed with 23 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 103 max exit velocity, averaged 93.5 mph. 388' max distance. Upside. Bat/power chance to exceed. Opportunities for adjustments to improve and take advantage of the bat/hand speed he has along with bat strength shown. Got a chance to be impactful hitter.

Positional Profile: SS/OF LHH/Inf…will get stronger with good frame/build to add. Opportunities for adjustments hitting. Like the upside to bat/power. Defensively shows solid ability and arm strength. Good player, fun to watch him develop.
Body: 5-10, 156-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Will have good build as he adds strength and matures.
Hit: RHH. LHH..lands in good position to hit. Back foot rotates getting stuck 1/2 way thru swing. Fully rotates after contact, late hindering impact. Would like to see full rotation happening at point of contact, would recommend trying for some linear movement to back foot to increase lower 1/2 use resulting in more impact. Late barrel tip resulting in inconsistent time, length to swing lack of barrel control. Would recommend calming hand trigger down, looking to keep barrel closer to behind the head, resulting in more direct path to hitting zone. Shorter path to zone will improve timing. At times dumps barrel on outer 1/2 and gets pull happy…this is related to timing. 67.6 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 88.2 mph. 334' max distance. Like the upside to bat/combo with swing adjustments and added physical strength. Definite opportunities for changes.

Positional Profile: 3B/RHP RHH/Inf…will gain strength. Development opportunities present with adjustments. Upside to bat/power combo. Defensively can make simple adjustments and improve.
Body: 6-0, 207-pounds. Solid build with room to add strength.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position after stride. Rotational back foot, works well, does a solid job of using lower 1/2. Would recommend developing ability to be more explosive with lower 1/2 driving forward, not a fast/explosive movement presently. Suggest working to develop some linear movement forward with back foot hitting into firm front side. Body leans back at contact, can get more upright with body. Barrel/hands launch from decent position, slight wrap present creating some length due to back elbow raising with stride. Hands work well swing, barrel takes good path to zone. Would benefit from softening elbow limited wrap/length in swing. Bat speed will increase with added strength. 72 mph bat speed with 7 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 96 max exit velocity, averaged 86.9 mph. 314' max distance. Opportunities for adjustments to increase contact consistency. Adjustments will help with impact and help compensate some for bat speed that is a bit short.
Arm: RH. INF-87 mph. Arm works fine, throws show carry. OH slot only, must develop ability to throw from all angles. Arm strength will continue to improve.

Like the upside to CB with development of ability to manipulate. DNS 3rd pitch. Fun to watch develop on mound. RHH/Inf…Will get stronger. Upside to bat/power, shows ability to impact baseball. Will be steady defender in future.
Body: 6-4, 223-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Will have good, physical build in future.
Hit: RHH. Lands slightly closed after stride, solid position to hit. Tilt/lean over right hip present in swing, with slightly closed off stride. Back foot shows linear movement at angle forward/away from plate. This movement with back foot is for balance, hinders ability of lower 1/2 to be effectively involved in swing and slows acceleration. Would recommend working to eliminate some of lean/tilt of upper body, looking for back foot to drive forward more. Hands/barrel in good launch position. Pull approach. Swing works fine, would like to see development of location recognition using all fields. Hit approach with body adjustments will be helpful to swing and firming contact consistency. 75.2 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 104 max exit velocity, averaged 93.1 mph. 348' max distance. Upside to bat/power combo in future. Opportunities for adjustments present, shows ability to hit balls hard. Will be fun to watch adjustments he makes over time at the plate.

Body: 5-9, 170-pounds. Solid build showing some thickness to middle/lower. Good frame to add strength.
Hit: LHH. Lands in solid position after stride. Rotational back foot, does a good job of using lower 1/2 in swing. Hands/barrel launch from solid position. Uphill path to hit zone with fly ball contact. Lacks consistent barrel control on pitches middle/away, barrel dump resulting in weak flares to LF. Must improve ability to handle barrel for success in future. 73.7 mph bat speed with 21 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 90.6 mph. 389' max distance. Solid approach to hit, bat/hand speed present. Opportunities for adjustment with swing to increase contact consistency. Like the upside to hit ability with changes.

FB will continue to develop, will throw harder, like the down plane, opportunity for him to develop ability to work up in zone. CB/SL look to be similar, short breaker with down action. Change will be avg pitch in future, presently slows arm hindering deception and command with front side running away from arm. Around zone today. LHH/Inf, OF…will get stronger. Tools present with opportunities for adjustments to continue to improve. Upside. Good player.
Body: 6-4, 193-pounds. Good, projectable body, lanky. Frame/build to add strength, will have good build in future.
Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Linear movement to back foot, does a good job of using lower 1/2. Body lays back at contact, would like to see more upright, hitting into firm front side. This will help with rotation acceleration as well. Barrel/hands in good position to launch. Takes good path to hitting zone with hands/barrel. 77.6 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 101 max exit velocity, averaged 95.0 mph. 390' max distance. Opportunities to improve lower 1/2 use with adjustments. Power will continue to develop.

Body: 5-8, 168-pounds. Solid build/frame to add strength. Will have good body as he matures and adds strength.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit. Rotational back foot, gets stuck, not fully rotating. Minor adjustment, get back foot fully rotated on time to maximize effectiveness of lower 1/2. Late hand/barrel load, taking hands back. Solid launch position, takes good path to zone. Gets little quick out front at times pulling balls. Solid swing. 70.8 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 89.6 mph. 355' max distance. Solid approach to hit. Bat/hand speed will increase with added strength. Good off barrel looking for line drive contact. Can let baseball travel bit more at times. Like the upside to hit tool.

Body: 6-3, 201-pounds. High waisted, good build/frame to add strength.
Hit: LHH. Lands in solid position after stride. Decent use of lower 1/2 in swing, rotational back foot than never gets fully rotated. Can improve getting completely rotated along for increased impact of baseball. Lots of tilt present in body, posture can improved, especially on pitches up in zone. /High back elbow with barrel tip present. Swing is long getting into hitting zone. Can soften back elbow, eliminate some of barrel tip present. Work to take hands/barrel more direct path to hitting zone. Pull approach, pitch location recognition can be worked on looking to use all fields. 71.1 mph bat speed with 18 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 87.1 mph. 376' max distance. Opportunities present for adjustments to increase contact consistency. Upside to bat/power with changes. Will develop increased raw power.

Body: 5-11, 204-pounds. Solid build with thickness to lower. Room to add strength for solid build.

Upper 1/2 of body lays back, maintain posture in swing, hitting into firm front side. Hands in good launch position. Barrel flat above shoulder at launch. Some length to swing with slight lead arm bar, front shoulder opens early to compensate for lead arm bar. Soften lead elbow some lessening bar, allowing hands/barrel to work in zone instead of pulling off. 70.7 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.

Body: 6-5, 224-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Solid now, will have strong body in future with maturity and added strength.

Barrel takes decent path to zone from launch position. Aggressive swinger with pull approach, would like to see working all fields. Will impact the baseball in future, how good of a hitter and consistency of impact will be determined by developing all field approach. 74.9 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.

Hit: RHH. Lands in solid position to hit after stride. Rotational back foot that gets stuck..not rotating at all the way at point of contact. Fully rotates after contact. Never gets lower 1/2 fully engaged in swing, hinders rotation acceleration. Work to develop ability to get fully rotated at point of contact, not late. Hands/barrel in solid position to hit. Late scap load creates some length to swing with hands sliding back. Slight uphill path with barrel creates fly ball contact, needs to get on plane creating more line drive contact, fly balls are not his game. Fair bat/hand speed…will increase with added strength. 65.5 mph bat speed with 10 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 81.3 mph. 313' max distance. Hit over power. Opportunities for adjustments present to increase consistency of contact.

Body: 6-2, 213-pounds. Solid build with some thickness to body. Can add strength.
Hit: LHH. High knee lift stride, lands heavy on stride leg, slightly closed, does a good job of staying back with body. Rotational back foot, gets stuck midway thru rotation, can improve getting lower 1/2 involved in swing with getting foot completely rotated, especially with slightly closed stride. Solid contact in game with productive AB's. Hands start down, raise up with stride, getting hands in good position to hit, barrel gets slightly tipped over head creating some length. Solid bat/hand speed. Solid path in zone showing ability to use all fields. Only concern in future is where barrel is starting, will he be able to be on time with velocity at next level. Note for future if he does end struggling, opportunity to get barrel in better position to launch shortening path into zone. Works right now, would not change anything at this time. 71 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 88.1 mph. 366' max distance. Solid approach to hit with ability to find barrel and create solid contact. Opportunities present in future for adjustments if struggles with velocity at next level.

Body: 5-9, 169-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Will have solid build as he matures and adds strength.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit. Rotational back foot, does a good job of using lower 1/2 and creating rotation acceleration. Solid hit approach with body. Hands/barrel in good launch position. Pull approach, when on time and working middle of field, good swing with solid contact. Christian McCleary 1B / LHP / Second Baptist, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: 1B/LHP LHH/1B…will gain strength in future, shows some now strength. Upside to bat/power combo with adjustments. Defensively will be fine 1st baseman. It's all about future bat/power here. Interesting player to watch develop.
Body: 6-1, 226-pounds. Thick, strong build. Width to shoulders and back. Will add strength in future for powerful build.
Hit: LHH. Lands in good spot to hit after stride. Rotational back foot, nice use of lower 1/2. Would recommend trying for some linear movement forward with back foot, if comfortable, will allow lower 1/2 to be more efficient and increase impact. Bat/hand speed present along with bat strength. Barrel tip present creating length to swing, hands also push away from body slightly loosing tightness to swing. Would like to barrel located closer to back of head and hands staying closer to body. This will allow for hands to work better to zone and lead to shorter swing with barrel. Huge upside to bat/power with adjustments. Presently shows hard, but inconsistent contact. 73.1 mph bat speed with 7 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 104 max exit velocity, averaged 86.8 mph. 339' max distance. Betting on adjustments with future bat/power combo. Lot to like here with raw components of swing.
Arm: LH. INF-82 mph. Arm works fine with fair arm speed. Can improve arm strength with long toss program.
Defense: Feet work okay getting into position to field. Lacks consistency in keeping feet moving thru fielding process. Hands are fine, fields baseball deep, can improve fielding out front. Fair body control/agility.

Body: 5-11, 180-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Lower shows some now strength.
Hit: LHH. Lands closed with stride. Back foot rotates with slight linear movement away from plate. Works fine in swing, shows solid contact to pull side. Would recommend trying for some linear movement forward with back foot, working to see if he can improve lower 1/2 effectiveness. If not comfortable with move…don't do it. Ultimately looking for opportunities to be more efficient, add impact. Hands/barrel launch from good position. Solid swing with hands/barrel into zone. At times, gets under balls down middle of plate. Would recommend getting little more upright with posture, this will allow getting on plane with consistency. Presently has tilt working over left hip in swing. 64.3 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 81.9 mph. 341' max distance. Solid bat/power combo in future. Overall good swing with opportunity for couple of adjustments. Can improve lower 1/2 use. Upside to hit ability.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Arm works well, accurate throws. Shows carry with ability to throw from all angles. Like the upside to arm strength in future with added strength, physical maturity.
Defense: Solid 1st step, feet work well getting body into position to field. Feet sound thru fielding process. Hands are firm, actions present. Body control/agility present. Avg foot speed/quickness.
ATH: 6.87 runner in the 60. 1.68 and 3.82 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Moves well, solid acceleration. 32.80 max vertical.

Darek Paiz RHP / 3B / Anderson Austin, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: RHP/3B RHP…upside. FB will continue to develop. Like the slider action/finish, shows ability to get swing and miss. CB…limited use showing solid spin. Did not see change. LHH/Inf…will get stronger physically. Opportunities for adjustments to improve bat/power combo. Defensively easy adjustments to enhance ability. Nice upside.
Body: 6-2, 184-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Well proportioned build.
Hit: LHH. Lands slightly closed with stride. Lower 1/2, backside hip use limited, rotational back foot that slides away from home plate losing ability to impact baseball. Would like to see get to ball of foot and stay on ball, not slide away or develop some linear movement forward with rotating foot. Back foot can slide away on pitches away occasionally for balance. Body lays back slightly at contact, would like to see more upright, can increase impact of bat. Barrel starts somewhat flat with no trigger. Some length to swing will pull approach. Would like to see small hand trigger added along with hands not casting out, taking shorter path. Develop location recognition and ability to use all fields. 68.5 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 95 max exit velocity, averaged 78.3 mph. 338' max distance. Upside to bat/power combo taking advantage of develop opportunities. Swing adjustments for contact consistency and lower 1/2 improvements for impact.
Arm: RH. INF-85 mph. Arm works fine, full circle present, would like to see more compact circle as infielder…although tough with pitching as well. Avg accuracy to throws. Threw from high slot only, didn't show ability to throw from all angles.
Defense: Feet work fine getting to baseball to field. Dead stop feet fielding, must learn to play thru baseball with feet. Fields ball deep, can field baseball more out front with hands out front. Avg body control moving to baseball with fair agility. Fair foot speed/quickness in infield. Corner infielder.
ATH: 7.23 runner in the 60. 1.73 and 4.01 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs hard. 25.60 max vertical.

Positional Profile: SS/3B RHH/Inf…Needs to add strength. Opportunities present to increase contact consistency in future. Solid defender.
Body: 5-11, 175-pounds. Good build showing strength to lower, will add strength in future.
Hit: RHH. Lands in solid position to hit after stride. Rotational back foot, solid job using lower and creating acceleration. Upper body lays back slightly costing impact. Needs to maintain posture hitting into firm front side instead of laying back during contact. Late barrel tip creates length to swing. Would like to see calmed down hand trigger leaving barrel in better position to launch. Pull approach presently, needs to work on developing all field swing. 75.4 mph bat speed with 21 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 86.2 mph. 312' max distance. Opportunities for adjustments present. Upside to bat/power combo with changes.
Arm: RH. INF-85 mph. Arm works well, accurate throws. Like the upside to arm speed and raw arm strength with added strength/maturity. Must firm ability to throw from all angles. Long toss program would help.
Defense: Solid 1st step, feet get body into position to field baseball. Solid hands with nice actions. Feet play thru baseball. Shows body control and agility moving to ball and making plays. Fair foot speed/quickness.
ATH: 7.50 runner in the 60. 1.87 and 4.21 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Hard runner. 29.80 max vertical.

Josiah Rojas 1B / LHP / The Colony, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: 1B/LHP LHS with developing feel to pitch. Won't overpower hitters with velo, but show ability work FB to both sides. CB has solid action showing some ability to manipulate. Like the way he pitches. Will continue to improve. LHH/1B…can get stronger physically. Like the overall swing with opportunities for adjustments. Nice defender at 1st, moves well. Solid production in game play over weekend with quality AB's and couple of hits.
Body: 5-11, 213-pounds. Thick build with good frame to add strength.
Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Rotational back foot, does a nice job of using lower 1/2 in swing. Hands in good position to launch. Slight wrap with barrel creates minor length to swing. Does a good job taking hands/barrel to baseball, slight uphill path created, can be more on plane. Also, would recommend trying to keep lead elbow slightly higher up on balls higher in zone allowing swing to work for more line drive stroke. 75.4 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 88.9 mph. 388' max distance. Solid swing components with opportunities for adjustments. Upside to bat/power combo with changes.

Brock Shouse SS / 2B / Rockwall, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: SS/2B RHH/Inf…will add strength. Solid contact off barrel when squared, opportunities for adjustments present with swing and improving efficiency of lower 1/2. Solid player future.
Body: 5-11, 181-pounds. Good physical build with room to add strength in future.
Hit: RHH. Lands closed with stride. Rotational back foot with slight linear movement forward. Decent job of using lower 1/2 in swing. Body lays back in swing, would like to see more upright with body during swing. Hands start in decent position. Back elbow raises creating some wrap with barrel giving length to swing to start. Length to swing into zone, barrel works around causing length, hands get away from body some. Needs to work hands inside baseball and take more direct path to zone with barrel. 65.7 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 90 max exit velocity, averaged 82.9 mph. 341' max distance. Opportunities for adjustments present. Drive hip forward for lower 1/2 acceleration and shorten swing.
Arm: RH. INF-91 mph. Throws show carry present with avg accuracy. Full circle to throwing action, must develop more compact arm circle playing on the dirt. Did not show ability to throw from all angles, OH only.

Cooper Skinner SS / Flower Mound, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: SS LHH/Mid Inf…will add strength in future. Like the upside to tools with taking advantage of adjustments both at the plate and on the field. Future grades are bets on ability to make changes.
Body: 5-9, 168-pounds. Good frame/build to add strength. Will have good build with added strength and maturity.
Hit: LHH. Lands in solid position to hit after stride from open stance. Rotational back foot, does decent job of engaging lower 1/2 in swing. Would recommend trying for linear movement forward with back foot to improve effectiveness of lower 1/2 in swing adding to impact at plate. Slight wrap creating length to swing at start, would like to see barrel with little less tip toward pitcher. Length to swing also created with barrrel movement, barrel dump to swing instead of taking direct path to hit zone, dump also creates uphill swing resulting in fly ball contact instead of line drives. Fair bat/hand speed present, creating short path to zone will help with fair bat/hand speed. Expect bat speed to increase some with added strength. 66.6 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 92 max exit velocity, averaged 85.6 mph. 325' max distance. Future bat/power grades are bets on willingness and ability to make adjustments, possible upside to bat/power grades with taking advantage of changes.
Arm: RH. INF-86 mph. Arm works fine, shows ability to throw from all angles. Will continue to improve with strength, maturity.
Defense: Feet work well getting body into position to field baseball. Feet work fine thur fielding process. Fields baseball deep with wrist cupped. Can field baseball more out front, key for fielding with hands, can someone from home plate see the palm of your glove, fingers pointed in down direction when fielding…in this case no. Overall shows body control with fair foot speed and quickness.
ATH: 7.29 runner in the 60. 1.73 and 3.99 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Moves well, expect time to improve with added strength and maturity. 26.70 max vertical.

Nicholas Smith SS / 2B / Mansfield Timberview, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: SS/2B RHH/Inf…will add needed strength for good build. Solid defensive player with versatility. Upside at plate. Will fun to watch develop in future.
Body: 5-9, 169-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Like the strength in the future.
Hit: RHH. Toe tap stride, lands in good position to hit. Rotational back foot, works well in swing, does a good job of using lower 1/2. Barrel tip with wrap to start swing, can short swing with softening of back elbow. Elbow raises, barrel wraps, launch point varied slightly. Work to keep barrel behind the head, up. This will allow more direct path to barrel and help with barrel control. At times, has slight barrel dump creating fly ball contact to right. When right…showed really good, line drive contact. 75.6 mph bat speed with 12 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 98 max exit velocity, averaged 89.6 mph. 341' max distance. Love the line drive contact. Opportunities present for adjustments to improve contact consistency and increased line drive contact working gap to gap. Upside to hit ability with changes.

Positional Profile: SS/2B RHH/Inf…will add strength in future. Steady defender with versatility on the dirt. Upside to hit ability adjustments.
Body: 5-10, 175-pounds. Solid build showing some strength to lower. Will add strength in future.
Hit: RHH. Lands slightly closed in good position to hit. Linear movement to back foot sliding away from plate. Would like to see development of driving foot forward instead of sliding away with movement costing ability to impact baseball. Foot sliding away is fine on balls away for balance, hinders impact on pitches middle in. Wrap created with back elbow raising with stride and slight inward turn of lead shoulder. Soften back elbow will allow barrel to maintain improved launch position and short path to zone for barrel. Decent bat speed will be helped by shorter path with barrel. Length to swing with uphill path, would recommend improving getting on plane with swing looking for more line drive contact, balls in the air are not a benefit with present ability. 67.6 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 75.4 mph. 257' max distance. Opportunities present for adjustments with both movements of body and swing. Upside to hit ability with changes.

Positional Profile: SS/3B LHH/Inf…will gain strength. Shows solid raw tools, like the upside with adjustments in game. Defensively can improve and become avg defensive player in the middle. Bat/power upside with taking advantage of swing changes shortening path to zone. Chance to take off next spring with changes.
Body: 6-1, 172-pounds. Solid build with room to add strength.
Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit. Back foot rotates/slides away from home plate with swing. Would like to see slight linear movement forward with back foot increasing lower 1/2 use along with adding to ability to impact baseball. Hands start in solid position. Barrel starts towards forehead with barrel tip to pitcher. Length to swing present. Would like to see barrel start to back of head with less tip to pitcher. This will allow barrel to take more direct path to hitting zone. Barrel presently has length to movement, slight lead arm bar as well. Does a nice job in BP finding barrel, struggled at bit in game play to consistently barrel ball. Opportunities present to adjust. 67.6 mph bat speed with 13 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 87.9 mph. 353' max distance. Opportunities present for adjustments. Love the line drive contact in BP. Opportunities present to shorten swing to improve contact in games.
Arm: RH. INF-85 mph. Arm works well, shows carry to throws with avg accuracy. Didn't throw from all angles, only high slot.

Body: 5-9, 175-pounds. Solid build, good frame to add strength, weight. Will have strong build when fully grown, mature.
Hit: RHH. Lands slightly closed with stride, solid position to hit. Linear movement to back foot, with foot moving forward and away from plate costing him in effectiveness of lower 1/2. I like the linear movement, should work to develop this movement forward towards mound, this will help with impact and rotation acceleration. The back foot can move away and forward on away pitches for balance at times. Hands/barrel start in solid position, with stride, back elbow raises causing some barrel tip towards pitcher creating initial length to swing. Hands work fine to zone. Barrel works back around with some length to zone. Love the hard line drive contact he shows at times. Soften elbow with stride which will keep barrel in better position to launch, creating shorter path to zone with barrel. 69 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 83.0 mph. 356' max distance. Solid swing components with opportunities for adjustments present. Upside the hit ability with changes, shows quality line drive contact at times, see this continuing to develop with adjustments.
Arm: RH. INF-87 mph. Arm works well, throws show carry when feet set. Showed he has ability to throw from all angles. Look for raw arm strength to continue to improve over time as he matures physically and add strength.
Defense: Solid defender, feet work well getting body into position to field baseball. Can improve playing thru baseball fielding with feet. Fields ball deep at times. Will be steady defender in future with ability to play 3rd or 2nd base.
ATH: 7.19 runner in the 60. 1.77 and 4.01 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs hard, solid runner, expect time to get slight better in future. 25.60 max vertical.

Jacob Tucker SS / 2B / Seven Lakes, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: SS/2B RHH/Inf…Needs strength. Defensively shows fine tools with ability to firm ability. Opportunities for adjustments present at plate, changes will help with contact consistency and impact.
Body: 5-10, 155-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength in future.
Hit: RHH. Dead stop approach, no stride. No weight shift into backside. Rotational back foot with slight linear movement angling away from plate. Recommend developing some sort of load into back leg for rhythm/timing and helping with ability to use lower 1/2. Like the linear movement, needs to develop more linear movement towards pitcher with back foot rotated. Present movements hinder ability to impact baseball. Hands/barrel in good position to launch. Pull approach. Work to develop ability to use all fields. Bat speed will increase with strength and developing lower 1/2 use. 65.9 mph bat speed with 16 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 81.2 mph. 278' max distance. Non athletic swing presently with opportunities to develop. Lower 1/2 can be improved, bat speed and ability to handle barrel will improve. Upside present.
Arm: RH. INF-83 mph. Arm works well, accurate throws. Arm speed, arm strength will improve with added physical strength and maturity. Long toss program would also be helpful. Betting on future arm strength with throwing grade given.
Defense: Feel work well getting body into fielding position. Shows solid footwork thru fielding process. Hands are fine, at times fields ball to deep, can field more out front. Shows nice body control and agility. Fair foot speed/quickness.
ATH: 7.39 runner in the 60. 1.76 and 4.06 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs hard. 23.20 max vertical.

Body: 5-11, 182-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Upside physically, will have good strength/build as he matures.
Hit: RHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Show linear movement to back foot with nice movement forward. Can improve driving hip forward improving rotation acceleration. Hitting in flats, back foot slipping was part of factor in lack of showing great rotation acceleration. Hands/barrel in good launch position. Good path to zone with hands and barrel. Solid bat speed present, will continue to improve with added strength. 71.3 mph bat speed with 7 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 94.7 mph. 376' max distance. Found barrel with baseball. Like the swing, can improve hip acceleration. Solid hitter.
Arm: RH. INF-87 mph. Arm works well, shows ability to throw from all angles. Avg arm now, will continue to improve with added strength and maturity. Took easy this event with tired arm.
Defense: Solid 1st step, feet work well getting body into position to field. Feet work well thru fielding process. Hands are fine, would like to see more of ground up approach fielding baseball. Shows body control and agility. Avg foot quickness/speed present. Also catches, shows solid attributes behind plate to be successful as catcher. Needs time/games behind the plate to refine ability. Upside to catching.
ATH: 7.22 runner in the 60. 1.75 and 4.00 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Runs hard, 60 time should get slightly better in future as he matures and adds strength. 32.20 max vertical.

Elijah Webber RHP / 1B / Boyd, TX / 2026

Positional Profile: RHP/1B RHP…Look for velocity to develop, command within zone must improve for future success. CB/SL shows solid spin with near avg action at times, future avg. Change shows action with some deception. Around zone with stuff. Interesting to watch develop on mound. LHH/Corner Inf…will get stronger physically. Overall solid approach to hit, upside to bat/power. Nice defender, feet work. Enough arm strength to play 3rd. Will continue to improve.
Body: 6-3, 191-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Well proportioned. Will have good build with maturity and strength development.
Delivery: Middle of rubber start with side step rocker. Stride legs lands middle of slope with toe slightly closed. Good job of using lower 1/2 and getting over front side with chest. Spinoff finish.
Arm Action: RH. Full circle with length. Works well, shows arm speed. TQ/LTQ slot, crossbody finish.
FB: T89, 87-89 mph. Upside to FB velocity. Must improve command, working all 4 quadrants, left ball up often in zone this day. When down has nice plane. Can work in/out. T2193, 1995 average rpm.
SL: 72-77 mph. Shows ability to spin baseball. Action varies, more downer type to TQ action. Avg future. I look at this pitch as more of CB than slider. T2318, 2220 average rpm.
CH: 80-82 mph. Fade with some sink. Deception is fine. Will be solid pitch in future. T1555, 1544 average rpm.
ATH: 7.47 runner in the 60. 1.77 and 4.12 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Hard runner. 24.50 max vertical.

Riley Wood 1B / LHP / Richland, TX / 2025

Positional Profile: 1B/LHP LHP…upside to arm speed, opportunities to improve delivery direction. FB will add velocity, like the feel for CB action present. Change will be solid pitch in future. LHH/1B…like the upside to bat/power combo with adjustments, shows solid contact off barrel when he finds it. Defensively can improve. Look for physical strength to be added in future.
Body: 6-0, 248-pounds. Thickness to body. Frame/build to carry weight and add strength. Can get stronger along with tightening up body.
Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Solid job of using lower in swing rotation of back foot, drives hip forward. Would like to see him maintain firm front side thru swing, front foot rotates early costing impact. Upper torso lays back slightly in swing, hit into firm front side maintaining more upright posture. Some length to swing. Barrel/hands start in good position to hit, would like to see slightly more direct path to zone with barrel. Pull approach, can do a better job of location recognition and staying behind baseball on balls away and not dumping barrel. 68.9 mph bat speed with 15 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 99 max exit velocity, averaged 92.5 mph. 342' max distance. Shows solid contact off barrel when he squares up. Like the upside to bat/power combo with adjustments. Opportunities there.
Arm: LH. INF-79 mph. Arm works fine, lacks arm speed/quickness. Can improve with long toss program.
Defense: Feet are fine moving off bag and moving to get body into position to field. Dead feet fielding, fields baseball deep. Can improve both. Fair agility/body control. Fringe foot speed/quickness.
ATH: Runs hard. 22.80 max vertical.

Positional Profile: 3B/OF RHH/Inf…can add needed strength and firm body. Opportunities present for adjustments and improvements both at the plate and with glove. Nice upside with changes.
Body: 6-0, 208-pounds. Thickness to body. Good frame/build to add strength.
Hit: RHH. Upright stance, lands slightly closed after stride. Rotational back foot with slight linear movement, gets stuck in rotation. Recommend firming ability to get foot fully rotated, like the linear movement, develop ability to get movement forward towards mound. Hands/barrel in good launch position. Length to swing with pull approach. Shorten path to zone with hands and barrel. Work on location recognition and using all fields. 64.7 mph bat speed with 14 G's of rotational acceleration.
Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 90.2 mph. 366' max distance. Opportunities for development present. Can improve lower 1/2 increasing impact, shorten swing using all fields. Nice line drive contact seen. Upside to hit ability with changes.
Arm: RH. INF-85 mph. Arm works fine with fair arm speed. Must firm ability to throw from all angles. Needs long toss program to increase arm speed and raw arm strength.
Defense: Decent 1st step, feet work to get body into position to field. Dead stop fielder, must learn to play thru ball with feet. Hands are fine, must firm ability to field baseball out front. BA foot speed/quickness. Decent body control and agility present. Opportunities for improvement present.
ATH: 8.00 runner in the 60. 1.91 and 4.41 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Hard runner. 21.20 max vertical.
