Cole Flashnick, Highland Park (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: SS/OF LHH/INF..will add strength. Will be solid, steady defender in future. I like the future bat/power, betting on ability to make adjustments. Player I am interested in watching develop over next couple of years. Body: 6-0, 172-pounds. Good build/frame to add needed strength. Projects to have good build in future. Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride with slight length to stride. Rotational back foot, nice job of getting turned. Would like to see some linear movement forward with back foot improving use of lower 1/2. Separation between feet after stride makes it tough on maximizing lower 1/2 use with linear movement forward. Hands/barrel start in decent spot, late wrist cock creates barrel tip. Tip creates scoop path and length to swing. Must get barrel in improved launch position resulting in shorter swing and improved path to baseball. 70.5 mph bat speed with 11 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 87 max exit velocity, averaged 75.7 mph. 317' max distance. Future bat/power grades are bets on ability to make adjustments. Contact consistency will improve, line drive contact will improve, impact will improve. Athletic to make changes. Arm: RH. INF-82 mph. Arm works with throws showing carry. Accuracy was off this day, not a long term issue. Will have solid arm strength in future. Defense: Feet work getting body into fielding position. Shows body control with feet working in fielding process. Hands work fielding, nice job of working out front. ATH: 7.27 runner in the 60. 1.77 and 4.08 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Solid start, runs hard, moves fine. Speed will improve with added strength.

Cole Flashnick, Highland Park (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: SS/OF LHH/Inf…Love the upside physically, will get stronger. Solid approach to hit with line drive contact. Ability to impact baseball will increase. Solid defensive player, will continue to improve. Will be fun to watch him develop. Body: 5-11, 165-pounds. Good build/frame to add strength. Like the upside physically as the soph continues to mature. Good strength, build in future. Hit: LHH. Lands in good position to hit after stride. Rotational back foot that gets stuck, never gets fully rotated limited effectiveness of lower 1/2 in swing. Getting fully rotated will help with impact of baseball. Solid swing. Gets in decent launch position with slight barrel tip. Does a good job of taking solid path into hitting with barrel, hands work well. Bat speed will improve with added strength. Creates line drive contact. Can improve working to stay on top of baseball on outer 1/2. 66.4 mph bat speed with 8 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 97 max exit velocity, averaged 87.3 mph. 362' max distance. Good swing. Opportunity to improve efficiency of lower 1/2. Like the upside to bat/power combo. Arm: RH. INF-85 mph. Arm works well with accurate throws. Will continue add to arm speed and raw arm strength with added strength and physical maturity. Did not show ability to throw from all angles, high slot only. Defense: Feel work well getting into position to field baseball, solid 1st step. Feet work well thru fielding baseball. Can improve fielding baseball out front, hands are solid. Shows body control and agility. Will continue to improve on defense. ATH: 7.17 runner in the 60. 1.69 and 3.97 in the 10 and 30 yard splits. Moves well, will increase speed in future. 27.70 max vertical.

Cole Flashnick, HIGHLAND PARK H S (TX), 2027 Positional Profile: SS/OF Flashnick is a unique prospect which offers a lefty bat with pop and a good glove, physicality will devolpe to match his raw skills. Body: 5-11, 162-pounds. Slim and lean athletic frame with plenty of room for muscle mass to be added. Hit: LHH. Even stance with hands tucked near shoulder, leads with a small stride that allows him to create seperation. Hands are short to the ball and stays through the zone well and gets full extension, uses lower half well. 66.6 mph bat speed with 9 G's of rotational acceleration. Power: 91 max exit velocity, averaged 81.9 mph. 326' max distance. Cole has easy pop for his pullside, as he gets stronger he will devolpe opposite field power that will make him very projectable. Arm: RH. INF-78 mph. Short compact arm motion with decent cary across the diamond, arm will get stronger. Defense: Quick feet with twitchy movements that give him good range with good hands. ATH: 7.16 runner in the 60. Average runner in the 60, but showed good athleticism at the start running in good strides. 25.50 max vertical.
