Pitchers
Colin Skolaris RHP / OF / Aurora, OH / 2022Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 8
Report: A right-handed pitcher out of Aurora HS, OH. This right-hander, has tempo and timing to the delivery, works tall on the backside. The arm swing is longer on the back, working out of a high ¾ slot. Front side leaks early, is aggressive and attacks. The fastball was clocked at 85 mph, with cut action to it. The changeup played really well, solid arm speed sells it well, clocked at 73-76 mph. The breaking ball had a slurve break, thrown with velocity at 71-74 mph. Punched 4 hitters in two innings of work. |
Alex Tawa LHP / 1B / Xavier, CT / 2022Rankings StateRank: 80 / POS: 8
Report: A left-handed pitcher from Xavier HS, pitched three innings, giving up one run. Pounded the zone with a heavy two-pitch mix, pitching backwards at times. The delivery continues to improve, lower half is inline, working down the mound, arm working from a ¾ slot. The fastball sast 80-83 mph, breaking ball was his top pitch, more slider action and break, clocked at 70-75 mph. Kept hitters off balanced with looks, times and deception, plus outing. |
Creighton Wesson RHP / OF / Avon Old Farms, CT / 2022Rankings StateRank: 70 / POS: 21
Report: A right-handed pitcher from Avon Old Farms, pitched two clean innings, soft ground ball contact in inning one, with swing and misses for strikeouts in inning number two. Working from the set position, super athletic, clean leg lift, arm works free and easy on the backside, coming through from a higher slot. The fastball touched 81 mph, with a ton more in there as he continues to physically mature and add weight on. Threw a small slider at 74 mph, will need to tap into this pitch, showing the makings of it being above average. |
TJ Winn Jr RHP / 1B / East Catholic, CT / 2023Rankings StateRank: 34 / POS: 9
Report: A right-handed pitcher out of East Catholic, a three pitch mixer, the delivery is under control, ¾ slot, inline and gets down the mound. The arm works with easy effort, fastball reached 83 mph, breaking ball at 71 mph, feel for the changeup at 74-76 mph. Serious pitchability, only a 2023 look for the stuff to continue to play and climb. |
Position Players
Michael Anquillare 1B / OF / North Haven, CT / 2022Rankings StateRank: 68 / POS: 5
Report: A right-handed hitter, simple, approach, short swing to contact, collecting 2 singles, second one, was squared up well. Showed plate discipline, competing in all three at bats. The hands and wrists are super strong, gap power, with average legs. Defensively, played a solid first base, hung on the bag, on tough throws. |
Jared Munoz OF / 3B / Bishop Hendricken, RI / 2022Rankings StateRank: 63 / POS: 13
Report: A right-handed hitting outfielder, put together good at bats, collecting a single to right. The swing is short to contact, gets uphill quickly, could stay through it a tick longer. |
Hayden Miller SS / RHP / Salisbury, CT / 2022Rankings StateRank: 51 / POS: 13
Report: A right-handed hitter, drove the baseball deep to oppo gap, collecting a double off the wall. The hands stay inside nicely, and he has an understanding of what he is doing at the plate. The legs are above average, can defend with ease at all three infield positions. |
John Heitzman OF / SS / Fairfield Warde, CT / 2022Report: A left-handed hitter, put two good at bats together, having hard contact, uses the entire field, more of a spread out approach, loose hands with whip and life to barrel. Defensively, had good jumps in the outfield, throwing two rockets to the plate, easy carry and flight. |

Pitchers
Ryan Egan RHP / 3B / Taft School, CT / 2022Rankings StateRank: 46 / POS: 13
Report: A right-handed pitcher, pitched two solid innings, punching out 4 and creating multiple ground balls. Working from a ¾ to high ¾ slot, fastball sat in the 85-87 mph range, mixed in a hard slider at 77 mph, and showed a solid changeup at 74-77 mph. Strong durable frame, transformed from a catcher/position player to a pitcher, looks to be more in the tank. |
James Raidt RHP / SS / King School, CT / 2023Rankings StateRank: 20 / POS: 6
Report: A right-handed pitcher, in the class of 2023, has an electric arm, fastball at 84-88 mph, with a breaking ball of 71-74 mph. The arm is super fast, clean, with whip-like action to it. A longer stride, pulled off on the finish, will need to calm down the motion a tick, command should improve. Punched out multiple hitters, with both pitches. Potential to be a draft pick out of high school. Big time arm. |
Connor Johnston RHP / OF / Trumbull, CT / 2022Rankings StateRank: 59 / POS: 16
Report: A right-handed pitcher, bigger, larger athletic frame. The delivery is simple, leg raise could get more loaded up at times. The arm is clean working out of a ¾ to over the top slot, pitching downhill, with run to arm side. The fastball reached 85 mph, held velocity for 3 innings. Showed a small slurve at 68-71 mph. Tons of potential, my guess is he has just started to work on his craft, moving from a position player to pitcher, look for big things from this one. |
Zachery Broderick LHP / 1B / Fairfield Warde, CT / 2022Rankings StateRank: 95 / POS: 10
Report: A left-handed pitcher, bigger, large frame, body works well. Pitched two clean innings, mixing a heavy 2-seamer to the arm side up to 85 mph. The breaking ball was clocked at 66-68 mph, needs to develop more hand speed, has makings of an above average pitch. |
