Updated Class of 2024 Player Rankings (September)
2021 brought back high school baseball in the state of Michigan where four schools were crowned champions. The state of Michigan has become a hotbed of talent throughout the country placing numerous players at various levels into colleges as well as multiple draft picks. As we close out the summer and move into fall baseball as well as other fall sports we had the opportunity to see hundreds of prospects throughout the summer and present our updated class rankings.
Many names came off the board to some of the top programs around the nation, many new names came to the forefront of the recruiting scene, and many prospects improved their game.
That being said, we have had the pleasure of seeing a number of solid players this past year. Prospects are popping up left and right, making velocity jumps, improving 60-yard dash times and showing more power with the bat.
Below we will take a look at "What's New at the Top", “The Risers”, "The Gamers", "Don't sleep on these arms”, and some of the top uncommitted prospects by position.

What’s New At The Top
Dante Nori OF / Northville, MI / 2024Report: The two slots hold steady with OF Dante Nori recently committing to College World Series Winner Mississippi State. Nori is a natural lefty that shows consistent barrel control, producing back spin extra base hits. Even hit for the cycle in his freshman season at Northville. |
Reggie Sharpe SS / OF / University Liggett, MI / 2024Report: Reggie Sharpe is a University of Michigan commit. In his freshman campaign at Liggett won a state title hitting at the top of the order. Versatile infielder that is a spark plug at the top of the order. |
Grant Bradley RHP / SS / Napoleon, MI / 2024Report: RHP Grant Bradley is a 6-foot-3, 195 pound prospect that caught the attention of the staff at the Southern Michigan Prospect Games. As a freshman stood out as the top arm at the event earning his invitation to the Future Games and at the Future Games is where he took his game to another level. Sitting 85-88 mph getting up to 89 mph along with a power curve dominating some of the nations top underclass hitters. He garnered the attention of several colleges deciding to commit to the University of Michigan. |
Dylan Larkins OF / 1B / U of D Jesuit, MI / 2024Report: OF Dylan Larkins a long lever left hand prospect showed big time skills paired with tools this summer at the Top Prospect Games earning a spot to the Future Games. At the Future Games he continued to perform well racking up multiple hits against the nations top uncommitted arms as well as patrolling the outfield. Has the ability to play all three outfield slots, and moves into the top 10 of the 2024 rankings. |
The Risers
Wyatt Ruppenthal RHP / 1B / Brother Rice, MI / 2024Rankings StateRank: 24 / POS: 6
Report: RHP/1B Wyatt Ruppenthal is a 6-foot-2, 155 pound two-way prospect that is a part of a loaded freshman class at Brother Rice. Shows arm side run on his fastball with easy velocity. Ball comes out the hand with little effort that allows you to project a velocity jump in the near future. Showed a three pitch mix with his fastball, curve and change up. At the plate has an aggressive approach with his toe tap load swinging with some lift creating an 86 mph exit velocity and throwing 82 mph across the diamond. |
Brendan Garza RHP / SS / Mattawan, MI / 2024Rankings StateRank: 20 / POS: 5
Report: RHP/SS Brendan Garza is a 6-foot, 185 pound mature framed prospect. Was a standout this summer at the Western Michigan Prospect Games displaying two way ability both in the infield and on the mound. On the mound was up to 87 mph with his fastball spin rate in the 2700’s, along with both a slider and curve that had 2000 plus spin rates. Shows range in the field playing short could also project as a third baseman with his arm strength. Posted an 89 mph exit velocity while hitting the ball over 300 feet. |
Tyler Fox 3B / SS / Brother Rice, MI / 2024Rankings StateRank: 25 / POS: 4
Report: 3B/SS Tyler Fox is a 6-foot-1, 155 pound left hand hitting prospect that has a true feel for his barrel. Played varsity baseball as a freshman for a team that made a deep run in the state playoffs. Creates leverage at the plate showing some power that will continue to increase as he fills out his frame. 89 mph exit velocity while hitting multiple balls over 300 feet. Posted a 71.4% rate of sweet spot hits during his performance at the top prospect games. He’s a guy that sticks out in game as well. |
The Gamers
Nathan Fidelino 3B / RHP / Grand Blanc, MI / 2024Report: Nathan Fidelino is a 6-foot-1, 185 pound two way prospect that was a member of the Division one state championship winners Grand Blanc High. Nathan has early present arm strength on the mound and in the field. Has the ability to command three pitches for strikes while running his fastball up to 86 mph. Plays the hot corner in the field but excels with the bat. Was a catalyst on the Team Michigan Junior Future Games Championship winning team this summer. 94 mph exit velocity. |
Brenson Watters 1B / LHP / Rochester Adams, MI / 2024Rankings StateRank: 16 / POS: 1
Report: Brenson Watters is a 5-foot-11, 165 pound left hand prospect that plays both the outfield and 1B. What sets him apart from most in his class is his ability to swing the stick. Loud and explosive contact through the zone. Advanced feel for the bat at a young age that plays and will continue to play at advanced levels. 91 mph exit velocity with a higher sweet spot percentage for his class. |
Buster Debol C / 3B / Romeo, MI / 2024Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 2
Report: Buster Debol is a 6-foot-1, 185 pound catching prospect that has clocked a pop time sub 2.0, shows a strong throwing arm behind the dish throwing 77 mph. At the plate hits from both sides of the plate with a line drive approach. Was a member of Team Michigan that won the championship at the Junior Future Games. Physical frame with a baby face which indicates more growth to come. 90 mph exit velocity at the plate while keeping the ball in the air the bulk of the time. |
Don't Sleep On These Arms
Brennan Hill LHP / OF / Grosse Pointe North, MI / 2024Report: LHP/OF Brennan Hill is a 6-foot-2, 165 pound two way prospect with a lean frame and wide shoulders. Lots of room to continue filling out. Has already displayed a high skill set both on the hill and on the bump. Fastball up to 89 mph with a loose arm action and an exit velocity up to 92 mph. Hill is one of the top 2024’s in the country and will continue to garner high level attention. |
Parker Brzustewicz 3B / RHP / Orchard Lake St. Mary's, MI / 2024Report: RHP/3B Parker Brzustewicz is a two way prospect that excels on the mound. Has plus command with easy arm action. Stands 6-foot-3, 165 pounds with long levers he has pitched on the national scene for years. A three pitch guy with spin rates in the 2000’s was a rotation guy for the Division two state champions Orchard Lake St. Mary’s as a freshman. Fastball up to 83 mph with arm side run. |
Gibson Sinke LHP / OF / Hudsonville, MI / 2024Rankings StateRank: 22 / POS: 4
Report: LHP/OF Gibson Sinke is a 6-foot-2, 150 pound two way prospect that plays outfield as well as a LHP. Long athletic frame is a college coach's dream canvas to think on. Long loose arm action on the hill with spin rates in the 2000’s. Fills up the zone well with three pitches while using his curve and change up to keep hitters off balance. Good athlete that ran a 7.25 while throwing 85 mph from the outfield. |
