Scouting Report
+ 2019 PBR Future Games Selection (Team Pennsylvania)
6-foot-3, 220-pound two-way prospect put together arguably the top performance of the day. The primary pitcher sat 87-88 from a high 3/4 arm slot utilizing his projectable frame well in getting downhill. His curveball at 71-75 showcased 11/5 rotation and regular two-plane break. A changeup at 77-80 is thrown with good arm speed and sink for a quality third offering. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to begin. He stays behind the baseball well and creates backspin with routine loud contact. Registered a bat exit velocity of 93 mph and ran a 7.40 60-yard dash. Completed his impressive day by showcasing 89 mph arm strength from the outfield.
6-foot-3, 210-pound primary pitcher sat 84-86 while touching 87 mph out of an over-the-top arm slot. Physical frame with room to add strength. Gets over front leg well and has the potential for heavy sink to the fastball. Curveball at 66-69 showed two-plane depth out of the stretch. Maintains solid arm speed on changeup at 73-74. Two-way prospect ran a 7.37 60-yard dash and flashed 83 mph arm strength from the outfield. The right-handed hitter starts from a slightly open stance and utilizes a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Showcased a feel for the barrel with strength in his lower half while registering a bat exit velocity of 89 mph.
