Registered an 89 mph bat exit velocity and ran a 6.96 60-yard dash. Athletic defender with solid range plays low to the ground and through the baseball routinely. Showcased easy, fluid 80 mph arm strength across the diamond.

Showcased above average feel for the barrel with a bat exit velocity of 80 mph. Displayed fluid actions with active feel defensively. Defensively, as middle infielder actions are athletic and fluid with considerable area quickness present. Hands are soft and confident with feet working well to and through the ball. Gabauer has the early makings of a soli middle infield defender. Arm strength will have to improve to stay on the left side.
