PBR OK hosted the third annual Summer Underclass Prospect Games at Oklahoma State University. Nearly 80 players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff and the entire staff from Oklahoma State.

Today, we take a look at the 32 RHPs from the event.
Bryson Akins 1B / OF / Keota, OK / 2021A 6-foot-1, 180-pound durable frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with a high and aggressive leg kick before sinking into his back side and gliding down the mound finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long in the back with a quick change of direction and early turn over before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 65-67 mph. Curveball shows near 12/6 shape with rolling action at 55-57 mph. Changeup shows some drop at 51-56 mph. |
Preston Berg RHP / 3B / Bartlesville, OK / 2022A 6-foot, 190-pound durable frame with some strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from an average tempo delivery with rhythm and a high up, down, and out leg kick before striding down the mound with quality leg drive finishing balanced. Arm action has moderate and quick length in the back before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 77-81 mph, mostly strikes. Slider shows 10/4 shape with cutter action at 71-73 mph, mostly strikes. Changeup shows some fade at 65-66 mph. In the game, Berg punched out three of the four batters he faced. |
Brex Caldwell RHP / 1B / Red Oak, OK / 2024A physically advanced and durable 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from a simple and average tempo delivery with rhythm and a slight pause at the top of a high leg lift before striding far down the mound and finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long, fluid, and clean in the back before coming through a near over the top slot with very little effort. Fastball flashes some arm-side run at 78-79 mph with much more in the tank, mostly strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with some tight spin at 62-63 mph. Changeup shows some fade at 70-72 mph. In the game, Caldwell punched out two of the four batters he faced. |
Brendon Carter 1B / RHP / Edmond North, OK / 2021A lean 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame with room to add size and strength. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with a high leg kick before sinking partially into his backside and driving forward and finishing balanced. Arm action has moderate length in the back with a quick change of direction at the bottom of his arm stroke before coming through a high-¾ slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 76-80 mph, some strikes. Curveball shows near 12/6 shape with rolling action at 69-72 mph. Changeup keeps its plane at 70-71 mph. In the game, got mostly weak contact. |
Chance Condit C / RHP / Salina, OK / 2021A physically impressive 6-foot-3, 220-pound frame with strength throughout. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with a high leg kick before striding down the mound with quality leg drive and finishing to the first base side. Arm action is long and loose in the back, getting high early before coming through a high-¾ slot with arm strength. Fastball shows some downhill tilt at 80-83 mph (slightly below what he has shown before), nearly all strikes. Arm action shows length with a clean, fluid, and loose action before coming through a high-¾ slot with some arm speed. Fastball sits 65-70 mph, keeping its plane, mostly strikes.
