Average on the mound, had an over-the-top arm angle and a long arm action with consistent arm speed. Drop-and-drive type pitcher and uses some effort. Has athletic balance point and even shoulders. Lands square with a falling off finish. Threw his fastball 76-79 mph with a max of 79 mph; had a in the zone command that shows straight movement. Threw a 12/6 slider (70-71) with slight action.
A proportional 6-foot, 170-pound frame. On the mound, the right-hander works from a slightly up tempo delivery with moderate leg kick and coil at the top before striding to the dish and finishing forward. Arm action has moderate length in the back, getting high early before coming through an over the top slot. Fastball keeps its plane at 74-77 mph, nearly all strikes. Curveball shows 11/5 shape with rolling action at 63-69 mph. Changup shows some fade at 71-72 mph. In the game retired all 6 batters he faced.
