LOS ANGELES, CALIF. - As we start heading into our fall season of events, I wanted to reflect on all the great baseball I saw this past summer. What I found in that reflection was a ton of great uncommitted players so below I highlighted a team of uncommitted ‘22s that stood out to me with their performance. Events where I got to see these standout players included the PBR Socal ProCase, Top Prospects ID, BAWS 2021, Rising Stars Games ID, California State Games, PBR Future Games, PBR West Coast Games, and DudeDay.
Outfield:
‘22 OF Arjan Johal - Jesuit HS: Had solid performances at both BAWS and West Coast Games this summer. Medium build that is filled out and strong (5-10, 167 pounds). 6.9 runner and 87 mph from the OF. Swing/load is somewhat unorthodox but bat speed is present 73 mph+ (via blast) and he had the only HR for Team California at West Coast Games.
We got our first #PBRBombSquad !

‘22 OF Noah Williams - Redondo Union: Williams is a kid I’m really excited about because of the high upside. Standout from both our Top Prospects ID and SoCal Procase. Has a long and lean build with present athleticism. 6.8 runner. The swing is smooth from the left side and he can barrel velo with ease. Some present power projection. A name college programs should get to know.
‘22 OF Andrew Citron - Harvard Westlake: Was one of the better standouts at Dude Day showing dual ability at the plate and on the mound. Simple load/swing. Strong hands create advanced bat speed that works on a level/on-plane path. Strong athletic build that is filling out. Citron is gonna make some noise next season at HW.
Infield:
‘22 3B Eddie Mgdesyan - Sierra Canyon: Saw Mgdesyan a good amount this past HS season and twice during the summer at the California State Games and DudeDay. Is a dual threat as a RHP as well but I like how he looks at 3B. Good arm across the diamond with a solid glove. Power at the plate where he makes consistent loud contact. A steal for whatever program picks him up.
‘22 SS Christian Miranda - Notre Dame: Notre Dame was a school I saw plenty of this past HS season and Miranda seems to always stand out. He’s an athletic kid with a balanced compact stroke. Sits around a 7.00 60-yard with an above-average arm at SS. Showed well at both the West Coast Games and Dude Day this summer. Expecting a big senior season out of him.
Coming off a strong DudeDay, ‘22 Christian Miranda @El5Malvado5 of @NDKNIGHTBASE showed well in his West Coast Games workout. Took some powerful backside strokes in BP that produced many hard LDs. Smooth athletic actions at SS with above avg. arm as well. @LesLukach @Jacked_23 pic.twitter.com/qMdcdcMa9X

‘22 2B Peyton Miller - Thousand Oaks: Smaller build and frame but is athletic and quick. Showed advanced bat to ball skills at Dude Day. Solid glove that can move around the INF if needed. Good overall player that will be a leader on next year’s TO team.
‘22 1B Sam Grunberg - Calabasas: Big strong kid at 6’3 215 pounds. At DudeDay he looked to have added some athleticism which was evident in his solid defensive workout. One of the better 1Bs I saw this summer. Has good feet and can pick it with the glove. Simple swing with minimal body movement allows him to find the barrel often. Present HR power but believe there is a lot more in the tank.
Coming off a breakout junior season, ‘22 INF @sgrunberg3 of @CalabasasBB showed well at DudeDay. Displayed some defensive versatility looking solid at 1B/3B. Then showed off some pull side pop in BP. Also had himself a LD 1B up in the middle in game action. @LesLukach @Jacked_23 pic.twitter.com/YVSoOjdNOf

Pitchers:
‘22 LHP Owen Dueck - Aptos HS: A lot of upside with this LHP. Saw him twice this summer at BAWS and West Coast Games. FB/CH combo pair well together. Solid command. FB spin is up to 2500 and it gets on hitters. Dueck has a lean build that has room to add some efficient mass. If he can further develop his SL he can become a potential solid D1 arm.
‘22 LHP @OwenDueck showed some nice upside in his 3 innings of work. K’d 3 and induced weak contact. Clean and easy arm action/mechanics.

FB: 83-86 T87. (T2533 spin max)
CH: 73-76
Room to fill out the frame/build and add some velo. @LesLukach @Jacked_23 @JoeyCohen20 pic.twitter.com/YF8m2Xm9To
‘22 RHP Andrew Campbell - MLK: Liked how he looked on the mound at Top Prospects Showcase. Uses his lower half well and moves down the mound hard and fast. Arm speed is there. Sits high 80s with solid secondary stuff. Decent position player as well.
‘22 RHP Aidan Cremarosa - John Burroughs: Was a name I kept up with on social media throughout the HS season and got to see him at Dude Day. Real deceptive RHP. Sits high 80s with the FB that comes out of the hand easy. Real good breaking ball as well with solid bite. A name I’m marking down to see more of heading into next year.
‘22 RHP Hannoh Seo - LACES: Seo threw at Dude Day and at a PBR tournament this summer and impressed at both. Works backwards a lot primarily with the breaking ball which is sharp and has good vertical break. FB sat 85-87 that hitters would be late on working off the CB. Pounds the zone and he knows how to pitch.
2022 Hannoh Seo of @PVOrioles pitched a great game today 6IP to go with 6 strikeouts displaying command of lively fastball and his off speed pitches. #shapethestate pic.twitter.com/3Ucl6EJ1Bq

‘22 UTL Cooper Lanz - Buhach Colony: Real solid play at both BAWS and West Coast Games on the mound and at the plate. Slingy low 3/4 arm slot with a fastball that works in the high 80s with ASR and a sweeping breaking ball that is a swing and miss pitch. Also hit well in Vegas collecting multiple hits off high quality pitching.
