Scouting Report
1-29-17
6-foot-4, 185 pounds. Bats left, throws right. Tall, athletic frame with long levers. Physical Big bat speed that produced 92 mph exit velocity. Hands work well, but has a tendency to be bottom hand dominant. Swung with wood in live round and ball really carries with gap to gap power right now and an uphill path. Quick hands work to the ball and then get out of the zone just as quick. Looks easy for him. Solid numbers on the day. 92 mph exit velo, 4.22 home to first. Threw 78 mph from OF. Has confidence and swagger. Player to follow.
8-15-16
Already 6-foot-5, 180 pounds. Bats left and throws right. Has a ton of power potential. The freshman brings a lot of power to the plate, and projects to be one of the best hitters in our state for the next 3 years. At the plate hits from a tall, slightly opened stance, short stride that closes down, and lets his hands to the work with a level swing through the zone. Gap to gap power. In the Outfield ranges well for his size. Throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. This past spring the big outfielder helped lead the Wolverines to the 5A District playoffs.
4-13-16
6-foot-4, 175 pounds. Bats left and throws right. Has a ton of power potential. The freshman is already making an impact in the Wolverine lineup currently hitting .304 with a homerun and 6 RBI's.
