"We are thrilled about our first recruiting class here at Purdue. Coach Fouts and Coach Marx did a tremendous job filling our immediate needs with an athletic and physical group of talented young men that will have an immediate impact on our program. This is a group of young men that love to play the game, have a high baseball IQ and have been very successful in the class room." - Greg Goff (Head Coach, Purdue)

Coach Goff and staff are bringing in a strong 2020 class, including two top 75 players from Indiana in catcher Jake Stadler (Mt. Vernon HS) and outfielder Weston Gingerich (Guerin Catholic HS). Stadler, ranked No. 23 in Indiana, has a projectable left-handed bat that should hit for some power at the next level as he adds strength to his frame. He shows above average receiving skills with athleticism behind the plate. Gingerich, ranked No. 61, is a solid defender with line drive approach from the left-side of the box. Each of the Boilers out of state recruits are ranked in the Top 50 in their respective states, with two ranked in the PBR Top 500 Overall rankings
