2/10/19 - Purdue commit. 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, large frame, sturdy build. Slight drop and drive style delivery, wide toe lift balance point, lands square, long stride, some effort. Arm action is long and loose, live arm, over the top slot. Fastball is straight, four seam life, late finish through the zone, sat 86-88 mph, touched 89 mph. Curveball flashed tight downer action, 11/5 shape, 73-76 mph. Slider tends to act similar to curveball, ranged 74-80 mph. Changeup thrown with fastball arm speed, 82-83 mph, showed feel for the zone.

8/9/18 - Purdue commit. 6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed pitcher, large frame, projects and durable on the mound. Delivery works on line, eyes stay level, lands square, uses slide step out of the stretch. Arm action has length on back side, regular effort, high ¾ slot. Fastball sat 86-88 mph, mostly straight action, occasional cut, showed feel for the zone. Multiple breaking balls, curveball has 12/6 shape, 71-73 mph. Slider works on 10/4 plane, 73-74 mph, showed feel for both.

9.2.18 - Verbally committed to Purdue University.

7.18.18 - 6-foot-2, 190-pound athletically-built with a strong frame, right-handed pitcher, projectable. Operates with a short, loose arm action, clean on the back-side, accelerates quickly to release point with regular effort. Tall and fall delivery, leads with hip, long stride down mound, works on-line, lands toe-closed, finishes athletically. Fastball, mostly straight, cut at-times, commanded, sat 85-86, touched 87. Changeup, maintains arm speed, heavy fade, located for strikes, 76-80.  Curveball, 12/6 shape, can be sharp, 67-71. Slider, similar to curveball, located arm-side, 69-71. High follow 2020.

5.8.18 - Listed at 6-foot, 180-pounds, thick, strong lower half. Started at shortstop for the Eagles and came into pitch in relief. Projects best on the mound. Right-handed pitcher, presence on the mound and kept composure with runners on base. Coiled at balance point, leads down the mound with his front hip, inconsistent front side and at times gets rotational at foot strike. Loose arm, long on the back side, clean and athletic out front, high ¾ slot. Struck out six batters in 4.1 innings pitched. Got multiple swings and misses by elevating his fastball early on. Worked down in the zone more consistently as game progressed. When down in the zone, fastball was heavy, significant run and tilt at times, 83-85 mph, topped 86 mph. Breaking ball is an above-average offering for his age. Sharp spin at times, thrown for strikes, depth, worked mostly 11/5, 70-71 mph. Understands how to pitch, works off his fastball and adept at pitching out of the stretch. Follow 2020 right-handed pitcher.
