New England Procase

6-foot-2, 195-pound, strong, large athletic frame, put together well, with strength throughout. A right-handed hitting outfielder, shows plus power from middle to pull side, with a level to up swing path. The hands really work through the zone, barrel has life, tee exit velocity clocked at 93 mph, took a solid round of batting practice. Runs ok for a bigger kid, ran a 7.25 sixty-yard dash. The approach in outfield is under control, more of a shuffle with footwork, arm working from a longer higher slot, clocked 88 mph with easy carry.

2/10/19

6-foot-2, 190-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Physical right-handed hitting outfielder with a very good skill set. The foot speed is slightly above average. The approach in the outfield is done well, throwing 87 mph from the outfield, quick arm and clean actions. Projects as a corner outfielder at the next level. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 94 mph. The setup is wide in base, front foot slightly open to start. The hands work free and clean, he is a strong hitter. The path is a tick long to contact, but can be shortened with reps. Has the ability to spread the field in the games, has done a better job of trying to stay inside the ball.

3/11/18

6-foot-2, 185-pound right-handed hitting infielder and outfielder. Impressive workout put forth by him, super athletic and fast twitch. Threw 84 mph during the outfield portion of the workout. The approach was aggressive and properly done. Threw 83 mph in the infield portion of the workout, the glove is soft, and the feet work. Ran a 6.74 sixty at the event. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 86 mph. The set up is wide in base, slight bend in the knees. The path is long and strong to the ball. The hands are quick, the path can shorten with better direction at the start of the swing. Power potential is present, the bat has plus life to it. Uses a 1-handed finish after contact. Big follow for college coaches.

2018 FUTURE GAMES
6-foot-2, 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder. Played really well in the games, the swing was shorter in the games and he was on time. He plays hard and works at his game. Ran a 6.94 sixty on the laser at the event. Threw 87 mph from the outfield, as he is athletic enough to play all 3 spots but will probably end up on the corner as he is a physical body type. The bat has a tee exit velocity of 89 mph. The setup is wide in base, small pick up and put down of the front foot as the ball approaches. The swing is up and over in path during batting practice, but in game he gets his hands in the path better. Usually the sign of a guy who hits in games and bp doesn’t show much. Good looking player and athlete.
