Coach Goff and staff are bringing in a strong 2020 class, including two top 75 players from Indiana in catcher Jake Stadler (Mt. Vernon HS) and outfielder Weston Gingerich (Guerin Catholic HS). Stadler, ranked No. 23 in Indiana, has a projectable left-handed bat that should hit for some power at the next level as he adds strength to his frame. He shows above average receiving skills with athleticism behind the plate. Gingerich, ranked No. 61, is a solid defender with line drive approach from the left-side of the box. Each of the Boilers out of state recruits are ranked in the Top 50 in their respective states, with two ranked in the PBR Top 500 Overall rankings.

Behind the plate, shows quick feet and a clean, smooth transfer; setup is flexible and evenly distributed. Consistently throws on the bag; short arm action; 77 mph position velocity. Recorded a 60 time of 7.59. Shows great athleticism both at the plate and behind the plate; has the ability to play other positions; is ready to compete at the next level.
