PBR OK hosted the third annual OK Preseason All-State Showcase at the state of the art World Baseball Outreach indoor facility. There were nearly 95 invite-only players showcased their skill in front of the PBR OK staff, 3 colleges and a pro scout. The talented event saw ten sub 7.00 60s, nine 90+ exit velos, 16 infield velos of 80+, four outfield velos of 85+, seven sub 2.00 second pop times, and 23 max fastballs at 80+ mph. Players profiles have been updated with stats, pictures, and video. The number below do not represent a players all-time best, only what they achieved at this event.

Today, we take an in-depth look at the 17 outfielders from the event.

Ashton Bennight OF / LHP / Tuttle, OK / 2023

Demonstrated feel for a long and lean 6-foot-2, 170-pound frame with obvious projectability and athleticism in his frame. The left-handed hitter begins with a balanced, open stance utilizing a leg-lift stride to initiate his swing. Gets tall at the point of contact while hitting into a stiff front side with a quick barrel that enters the hitting zone on a flat path. Consistently was on time and peppered the middle of the field off the tee registering an 83 mph bat-exit velocity, but showed more pop in BP. Ran a 7.18 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder featured advanced footwork with long, athletic actions during defensive evaluations arriving to the ball on time and playing through it with regularity. A fluid high ¾ arm-slot with whip created accurate 86 mph throws from his position with carry.

Alec Cinocca OF / RHP / Broken Arrow, OK / 2021

Demonstrated a lean and twitchy 5-foot-7, 155-pound frame with feel for his body and room to fill out and add strength as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with an open stance with hands tight at the shoulder and utilizes a short lift-and-replaces stride to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased sink into a twitchy lower half allowing for consistent barrel awareness as evidenced by a 79 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran the fastest 60 time at the event posting a 6.75The outfielder displayed solid footwork creating momentum towards the target with regularity. Arrived on time to the baseball allowing for accurate 84 mph arm-strength out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.

Parker Collins OF / 3B / Owasso, OK / 2021

Showcased a stocky 5-foot-10, 193-pound frame demonstrating physicality and some feel for his body. The right-handed hitter starts with a bent, narrow stance initiating his swing with a controlled toe-tap stride. Displayed sink into the lower half while generating a flat barrel path through the hitting zone with regularity. Hit into a stiff front side while registering an 82 mph bat-exit velocity off the tee. Featured adequate barrel awareness with a middle of the field approach and some barrel whip. Ran a 7.43 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showcased adequate footwork with a low center of gravity and feet that arrived on time to the baseball. Recorded an accurate 67 mph arm-strength from his position using a short, high ¾ arm-slot which will improve with a longer takeaway.

Jake Garvey OF / Broken Arrow, OK / 2022

Displayed a lean 5-foot-8, 160-pound frame with feel for his hands and room to fill out as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a narrow, open stance utilizing a quick toe-tap stride to initiate a flat barrel path into the hitting zone. Showcased a line drive approach off the tee using the middle of the field primarily. Registered a 78 mph bat-exit velocity and recorded a 7.45 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder demonstrated adequate footwork that arrived to the ball on time with regularity allowing for an accurate 71 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot.

Collin Godfrey OF / 3B / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2021

Showcased a physical 6-foot-2, 215-pound frame with present strength and feel for his body. The left-handed hitter begins with a tall, even stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. The barrel whips through a slightly uphill path into the hitting zone while extending through the contact point. Displayed sink into a strong lower half allowing for bat-exit velocities of 81 mph with room for more off the tee. Ran a 7.45 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder demonstrated solid footwork arriving on time with regularity to the baseball. Low center of gravity created momentum towards the target recording a 79 mph arm-strength out of a fluid high ¾ arm-slot. The third baseman showed adequate footwork with soft hands in front. A quick first step generated range to both sides. Notched accurate throws of 73 across the diamond.

Jordan Griswold LHP / OF / Southwest Covenant, OK / 2022

Displayed a lean 5-foot-8, 135-pound frame with room to fill out as he matures. The left-handed hitter begins with a bent, even stance utilizing a short lift and replace stride to initiate his swing. The barrel enters the zone through a flat path allowing for a line drive approach. Hips showed sway to the front side early and created some roll over tendencies. Demonstrated a strong top hand through the zone while hitting into a stiff front side evidenced by a 75 mph bat-exit velocity off the tee. Showcased fluid and easy actions during defensive evaluations with feet that arrived on time and played through the baseball. Recorded accurate 80 mph throws to the plate from his position out of a quick, high ¾ arm-slot.

Levi Gunn OF / SS / Cascia Hall, OK / 2020

Demonstrated a physical 5-foot-11, 175-pound frame with present athleticism. The switch hitter mirrors from both sides of the plate with a bent, even setup utilizing an upward hand load coupled with a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Lower half sink allows for the barrel to enter the zone through a flat path generating a line-drive approach to the middle of the field. Displayed barrel whip through contact point allowing for the usage of all fields. Recorded an 81 mph bat-exit velocity off the tee and ran a 6.81 60-yard dash.

Grayson Hall OF / SS / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2021

Showcased a long and lean 5-foot-11, 170-pound frame with physicality in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins from a bent, open stance and utilizes a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Displayed a slightly uphill barrel path through the baseball at contact point with carry to the pull side gap off the tee. Showed solid barrel awareness evidenced by an 84 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.13 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder demonstrated fluid, athletic actions during defensive evaluations while arriving on time to the baseball regularly. Soft hands and smooth transfers generated accurate 85 mph arm-strength from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot.

Landon Lee OF / RHP / Bixby, OK / 2022

Showcased a physical 6-foot, 180-pound proportional frame with some feel for his body. The left-handed hitter begins with an open stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride with a repeatable load to initiate an uphill barrel path through the hitting zone. Demonstrate a strong top hand off the tee with a pull-side approach. Notched a 77 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.28 60-yard dash. The outfielder showed feet that arrived on time and played through the ball with momentum towards the target. Aggressive routes and feet setup accurate 80 mph arm-strength out of a high-effort, high ¾ arm-slot.

Logan McKee OF / 2B / Edmond Santa Fe, OK / 2020

Demonstrated feel for a lean and athletic 6-foot-1, 160-pound frame with room to add size and strength. The right-handed hitter begins with a slightly open stance utilizing a lift-and-replace stride to initiate his swing. Hands work short to the baseball through a flat barrel path generating a line drive approach off the tee. Showcased a dominant top hand that occasionally caused pull-side favoritism. Registered an 81 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.31 60-yard dash. The outfielder showcased the ability to play through the baseball and arrive on time with regularity. Displayed soft hands and fluid transfers allowing for accurate 77 mph from his position out of a high ¾ arm-slot.

Jaxon Mctyre OF / C / Sallisaw, OK / 2021

Showcased an athletic 6-foot, 190-pound frame with present strength in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins with an open stance utilizing a leg-kick to initiate a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Hit into a soft front side with an easy, repeatable swing that allowed for advanced barrel awareness off the tee. Registered an 88 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.56 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showed solid footwork while arriving to the ball on time creating momentum towards the target. Fluid transfers generated accurate 89 mph throws out of a quick, high ¾ arm-slot from his position during defensive evaluations. The backstop featured adequate receiving skills with a soft glove hand at the catch point. Pop times ranged from 1.99-2.06 on accurate throws of 79 mph out of the crouch. Flashed comfortability blocking to both sides with soft walls and downward chest angles.

Devin Mitchell OF / 1B / Bishop McGuinness, OK / 2023

Demonstrated a long 5-foot-11, 165-pound frame with strength in his actions and room to add size as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a wide, even stance utilizing a knee knock stride to initiate his swing. Generated a flat barrel path through the hitting zone allowing for a line drive approach off the tee. Displayed advanced feel for his hands working through the ball to extension. Registered an 81 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 7.20 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showed easy, fluid actions while arriving to the ball on time and playing through with momentum towards the target. Flashed an accurate 82 mph arm-strength out of a high ¾ arm-slot.

Luke Schimmels OF / RHP / Deer Creek , OK / 2023

Showcased a physically advanced 6-foot-1, 190-pound frame with present strength in his actions. The right-handed hitter begins with an even stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to unleash a slightly uphill barrel path into the hitting zone. Generated advanced barrel whip with feel for extension off the tee while driving the ball to the pull side gap with backspin. Displayed sink into a violent lower half evidenced by an 88 mph bat-exit velocity. Ran a 7.58 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder featured solid footwork playing through the ball with momentum towards the target coupled with a live arm generating accurate 89 mph arm-strength from his position out of a fluid, high ¾ arm-slot.

Beckham Smith OF / RHP / Perkins-Tryon, OK / 2024

Featured a lean 5-foot-7, 140-pound frame with room to add size and strength as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins with a bent, even stance utilizing a toe-tap stride to initiate his swing. Generated a slightly uphill barrel path through the zone showcasing some athleticism in his swing. Lower half worked well through the ball allowing for a 70 mph bat-exit velocity off the tee. Ran a 7.06 60-yard dash. Showed adequate footwork arriving to the ball on time creating momentum towards the target. Flashed a solid first step yielding advantageous routes to the ball. Notched a 70 mph arm-strength from the outfield out of a short, high ¾ arm-slot.

Eric Thompson OF / RHP / Bishop Kelley, OK / 2022

Displayed a physical 6-foot-1, 180-pound frame with strength in his actions and present athleticism. The right-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a knee-knock stride to initiate his swing. Generated a slightly uphill barrel path through the hitting zone with sink into an athletic lower half. Hit into a moderately stiff front side with an advanced feel for the barrel off the tee. Registered an 88 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 6.89 60-yard dash. The primary outfielder showcased adequate footwork with a low center of gravity and took advantageous routes to the ball. Showed accurate 81 mph arm-strength out of a high ¾ arm-slot with a long takeaway.

Jesse Tisdell OF / 2B / Choctaw HS, OK / 2022

Showcased a lean and twitchy 5-foot-11, 155-pound frame with advanced athleticism in his actions and room to fill out as he matures. The right-handed hitter begins in a balanced, open stance utilizing a leg-hang to initiate his swing through a flat barrel path with some lower half leak. Generated a repeatable, short stroke with quick hands while hitting into a bent front side. Registered an 82 mph bat-exit velocity and recorded an impressive 6.71 60-yard dash displaying his athletic abilities.

Blake Williams LHP / OF / Bixby, OK / 2021

Showcased a lean, athletic 6-foot, 170-pound frame with an advanced feel for his body and solid strength in his actions. The left-handed hitter begins with a balanced, even stance utilizing a repeatable lift-and-replace stride to initiate a whippy swing through a slightly uphill path in the zone. Displayed a pull-side approach off the tee with lift to the deep right-centerfield gap. Sink into a twitchy lower half allowed for violent hip rotation creating advanced hand speed through the hitting zone. Registered an 84 mph bat-exit velocity and ran a 6.90 60-yard dash. The outfielder featured smooth, fluid actions with feet that arrived on time and played through the ball with regularity. Generated momentum towards the target with a quick first step and took advantageous routes to the ball yielding accurate 84 mph arm-strength from his position out of a quick, high ¾ arm-slot.
