Updated Class of 2027 Player Rankings (March)

During the Fall and Winter, we saw many names came off the board to some of the top programs around the nation, saw numerous prospects update measurables at showcases, and saw many new names came to the forefront of the recruiting scene. With that information, we are updating each of our class rankings based off what we have seen. After updating the 2024-2026 Classes, we are onto the Class of 2027.

The Top 15

In our first update of the Class of 2027, we have expanded our rankings from 5-15. Below you will see the top 15 along with numerous "on the cusp" prospects that are listed in alphabetical order. The 2027 class is shaping up to be another outstanding group. We will look to update our rankings again in a couple of months after seeing these talented players compete this spring for their high schools.

Noah Goettke OF / RHP / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 1 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 71 / POS: 16

Report: The top spot in the class remains the same, with the Archbishop Moeller product Noah Goettke continuing to look the part while performing at our ProCase in February. 6.47 60, 100.3 exit velo, 93 outfield velo. Tools for days. It will be interesting to see where Goettke is playing this spring for the nationally ranked Crusaders.

Devlan Daniel OF / RHP / Indian Hill, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 2 / POS: 2 OverallRank: 75 / POS: 17

Report: Manning the two spots continues to be Devlan Danial from Indian Hill high school. After another strong performance at the CBC Marucci Scout Day which saw the athletic 6-0, 180-pound outfielder run a 6.85 60, while producing a big time BP round in the cage, and a 91 mph arm velo from the outfield to boot. Look for Daniel to play a big role this spring for Indian Hill.

Donovan Glosser C / OF / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2027

Report: Athletic 5-10, 162-pound R/R C/OF. Toolsy prospect with a 1.88 pop time, 6.75 60, 92 OF velo, 80 C velo, 93.6 exit velo. A name to watch throughout his high school career.

Nathan McDowell RHP / Troy, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 4 / POS: 1 OverallRank: 147 / POS: 31

Report: 6-2, 165-pound righty with a mid-80s fastball and a good feel for the secondary offerings.

Jaden Bakhit OF / RHP / Mason, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 5 / POS: 3 OverallRank: 179 / POS: 40

Report: The hit tool is there for the 6-2, 195-pound outfielder. A 100.3 exit velo coming from a smooth and easy swing.

Nate Henderson LHP / OF / Bishop Watterson, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 6 / POS: 1

Report: 6-2, 177-pound two-way L/L pitcher/outfielder. Mid-80s on the bump. Smooth swing from the left side.

Cael Charles RHP / C / Amherst Steele, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 7 / POS: 2

Report: 6-0, 150-pound two-way with a mid to upper-80s fastball and a pop time in the sup-1.90 area. The Amherst Steele/T3 prospect is one to keep an eye on.

Anderson Alacchi C / Lake, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 8 / POS: 2

Report: LHH hitting catcher with a mid-90s exit velo. 5-11, 178-pound catcher from Lake HS/Bo Jackson Elite.

Trey Powers LHP / OF / Saint Ignatius, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 9 / POS: 2

Report: There is a lot to like from this 5-10, 160-pound two-way LHP/OF. The L/L southpaw is already in the upper-80s with the fastball with a good feel for the secondary offerings. Clean delivery. Smooth swing from the left side while running a 6.84 60. You should see a lot from the two-way this spring at Saint Ignatius before a big summer with Release.

Anthony Groner LHP / OF / Canfield, OH / 2027

Report: L/L two-way from Canfield/Ohio Elite. Low to mid-80s on the bump while showcasing pop from the left side at the plate.

Enmanuel Ramos SS / 2B / North Ridgeville, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 11 / POS: 1

Report: 5-7, 140-pound smooth fielding middle infielder from North Ridgeville/T3 Warhawks. Toolsy prospect with an 89 mph arm at short, athletic actions in the field and a good swing at the plate.

Jackson Turnbull LHP / OF / Pickerington North, OH / 2027

Report: Two-way from Pickerington North/Bo Jackson Elite. 5-10, 175-pound L/L pitcher/outfielder. Low to mid-80s fastball with a 90+ mph exit velo.

Noah Milburn LHP / OF / Lakota East, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 13 / POS: 5

Report: 6-0, 135-pound L/L pitcher/outfielder. Two-way from Lakota East/Legends Baseball. 5-10, 175-pound L/L pitcher/outfielder. Low to mid-80s fastball with a smooth swing from the left side.

Jackson Schilling C / 3B / Vandalia Butler, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 14 / POS: 3

Report: 5-11, 16-5 pound right-handed hitting C/3B prospect. The Vandalia Butler/Bo Jackson Elite product has a pop time in the 1.90 area and a 90 mph exit velo at the plate.

Reggie Watson III SS / OF / Archbishop Moeller, OH / 2027

Rankings StateRank: 15 / POS: 2

Report: Switch-hitting MIF/OF prospect from Archbishop Moeller. 5-5, 125-pound BJE product has swings it well from both sides. The glove works, while showing athleticism with a 6.83 60.
