Scout Day: Prodigy - Infielder Analysis

Prep Baseball Report Missouri held the Prodigy Scout Day Scout Day on February 23 at the Prodigy Baseball Facility in Parkville, Missouri. Nearly forty players participated in the 2022 to 2018 classes.
Player profiles have been updated with running times and velocities along with a video of their performance.Players can now updated their profiles with a ProspectPlus subscription, while scouts and recruiters can add players on ScoutPlus.

Zach Buschschulte SS / 2B / Staley, MO / 2021Buschschulte is a 5-foot-9, 150-pound, right-handed hitting middle infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 4.89 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 89 mph. During batting practice, Buschschulte starts in a slight open and athletic stance, shows rhythm with hands, controls the barrel, quiet load, strides across body, quick hands, uphill with swing, showed contact to pull side and middle during round. Parker Campbell 1B / OF / Liberty, MO / 2021Campbell is an athletic 5-foot-8, 155-pound, corner infielder in Missouri’s 2021 class. He ran a 4.57 home-to-first and posted an exit velocity of 75 mph. During batting practice, Campbell starts narrow, reverse toe-tap to load, rhythm with hands, quick bat, feel for the barrel, minimal head movement, repeats swing, mostly pull side contact and looked to elevate during round. Patrick Compton C / 3B / Oak Park, MO / 2020Compton is a 5-foot-11, 175-pound, right-handed hitting third baseman in Missouri’s 2020 class.
