On the mound, Foster works at a little quicker tempo, regular effort, fluid and repeatable delivery, loose arm action, high-three quarter and accelerates down the mound to the catcher, showed the ability to throw 3 pitches for strikes. Fastball is 79-81 mph, arm side run, thrown for a high percentage of strikes, curveball is 70-72 mph, mostly gradual action but does have some occasional bite, 11-to-5 shape, changeup is 67-72 mph, good fading action, near fastball arm speed.
