On Wednesday, July 22, Prep Baseball Report-Missouri held the Mid-Eastern Open ID Showcase at Ronsick Field in Washington, Missouri.  Fifty-plus players participated in the event from the 2018 class to the 2016 class from all over the state.

Below is a look at all the players with a complete analysis of their performance.  Players will be updated in the player rankings in the weeks to come.  Players are listed in alphabetical order.

Adam Aldridge, 2B, Vianney, 2017
Aldridge is a 5-foot-11 150-pound left-handed hitting second baseman and outfielder in the 2017 class from Vianney HS.  Aldridge runs a 7.47 60 and a 4.50 home-to-first. During batting practice, Aldridge had a good round with consistent solid contact in the middle of the field, aggressive swing, fluid rhythm, some hand load, 79 mph exit velo.  On the infield, high three-quarter release, 70 mph positional velo, mostly accurate throws, soft hands, fluid exchange, quick feet.

Chasen Anderson, SS, Troy Buchanan, 2018
Anderson is a 5-foot-10 155-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in the 2018 class.  During batting practice, Anderson showed feel for the barrel, squaring up balls gap-to-gap, small leg lift in load, minimal load in hands, used the middle of the field, 80 mph, exit velo, runs a 7.39 60 and a 4.40 home-to-first. On the infield, has a three-quarters release, 73 mph velo, quick feet, quick glove-to-hand exchange, plays through ball. On the mound, controlled delivery, loose arm action, fastball with late run 77-80 mph, 11-to-5 shape curveball 67-71 mph, throws for strike, works bottom of zone with 71-73 mph change-up. 

Jace Backs, C, Washington, 2017
Backs is a 5-foot-11 150-pound left-handed hitting catcher and right-handed pitcher in the 2017 class.  At the plate, starts in athletic stance, loads with toe tap, short path to ball, swing works inside the ball, loose hands, middle-to-pull approach, 8.00 60 time.  Behind the plate, 2.15 to 2.25 pop times, quick exchange and release, high three-quarters release, mostly accurate throws.  On the mound, throws slightly across body, three-quarters release, fastball at 70-74 mph, with run, 11-to-5 curveball, gradual break, 61-64 mph, change-up down in zone 64-68 mph.
 
Lane Baremore, SS, Meadow Heights, 2018
Baremore is a 6-foot-1 150-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in the 2018 class.  Baremore runs a 7.41 60, is 4.41 home-to-first, and has an exit velo of 75 mph. During batting practice, Baremore showed the ability to use the whole field with pop to the pull side, athletic stance, smooth load, level to extension, consistent solid contact gap-to-gap.  In the outfield, loose over the top release, athletic footwork, plays through the ball, 74 mph velo.  On the infield, athletic actions, quick release, clean exchange, arm works from different angles, mostly high-three quarters, 71 mph positional velo.  On the mound, simple and repeatable, raises and lowers hands with leg lift in wind up, conventional from stretch, fastball at 70-75 mph, with run, 11-to-5 curveball, gradual action, 62-65 mph, throws fastball and curveball for strikes, change up at 66-68 mph, near fastball arm speed. 

Mitch Barrow, 3B, Washington, 2016
Barrow is a 6-foot-5 220-pound left-handed hitting corner infielder in the 2016 class.  Barrow runs a 7.25 60 and has an exit velo of 90 mph, best exit velo of the event.  At the plate, starts loaded in back leg, quick/level path, smooth rhythm, gag-to-gap approach, power to pull side. On the infield, over the top release, 77 mph positional velo, one of the top infield velos, quick footwork and clean exchange, mostly accurate throws. 

Andrew Boessen, RHP, Helias, 2017
Boessen is a 6-foot-2 150-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2017 class.  Boessen works down hill with good control and tempo in his delivery.  He has an over the top release and works the bottom of the strike zone with fastball at 78-81 mph. Breaking ball has 12-to-6 action 68-70 mph, change-up has some arm side release 66-73 mph. He also ran a 7.00 60, one of top for the event.

Dillon Breeden, OF, Union, 2016
Breeden is a 6-foot-1 170-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in the 2016 class. At the plate, Breeden loads with a leg kick, level path, uses the middle of the field, runs a 7.47 60.  In the outfield, works behind the ball, plays thorough the catch, over the top release, mostly accurate throws, clean exchange and footwork.  On the mound, over the top release, high percentage to strikes with fastball, 74-78 mph, sharp 12-to-6 breaking ball, late action, at 63-65 mph, change up 69-76 mph. 

Noah Brocato, 3B, Pacific, 2016
Brocato is a 6-foot-2 190-pound right-handed hitting corner infielder in the 2016 class.  Brocato runs a 7.37 60 and has an exit velo of 86 mph, one of the best of the event.  During batting practice, he showed feel for the barrel hitting line drives gap-to-gap, small load, level path to extension, loose hands.  On the infield, 76 mph across diamond, one of the top velos among infielders, high three-quarters release, fluid footwork and clean exchange, accurate.

Bailey Brush, 3B, Troy Buchanan, 2018
Brush is a 5-foot-10 170-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in the 2018 class.  He runs a 7.60 60 and has an exit velo of 77 mph.  At the plate, has a gap-to-gap approach, balanced stance, smooth load, strong/quick hands, level path.  On the infield, 66 mph positional velo, high three quarters release, quick footwork, clean exchange.  On the mound, throws high percentage of strikes, over the top release, in line down the mound, some deception on tempo of delivery, fastball at 69-72 mph, 11-to-5 curveball at 60-61 mph, change-up with sink, 64-66 mph. 

Brock Ellis, C, Lafayette, 2016
Ellis is a 6-foot-215-pound right-handed hitting catcher, first baseman and right-handed pitcher in the 2016 class.  Ellis runs an 8.03 60 and has an 87 mph exit velo, one of the best for the event.  During batting practice, has a middle approach, hitting mostly line drives with a level path and strong lower half, smooth load.  Behind the plate, had pop times between 2.15 and 2.25, fluid footwork and clean exchange, mostly accurate throws, 67 mph velo.  On the infield, 69 mph positional velo, over the top release, clean exchange, accurate throws.  During his bullpen, 70-72 mph fastball, 64-66 curveball, gradual 11-to-5 action, change-up with fastball arm speed, 65-69 mph, high percentage of strikes, controlled delivery. 

Wyatt Englert, C, Sullivan, 2016
Englert is a 5-foot-7 175-pound right handed hitting catcher.  Englert has a level path and used the middle of the field during batting practice, simple load, short stride, 72 mph exit velo.  Behind the plate, has a pop times between 2.12 and 2.50, one of the top pop times for the event, over-the-top release, quick exchange, fluid footwork, 69 mph positional velo.

William Ferrell, RHP, Notre Dame, 2018
Ferrell is a 6-foot-6 214-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2018 class.  Ferrell throws downhill and in the strike zone with three pitches. Simple delivery with good body control, over-the-top release, stays in line, shoulders level. Fastball works 73-75, 78 max, 11-to-5 curveball, late action, works bottom of zone, 74-75 mph change up. 

Zachary Finley, RHP, Gasconade, 2017
Finley is a 6-foot-1 150-pound right handed pitcher in the 2017 class. Lean and projectable frame, with loos arm action, over the top slot, throws downhill, good body control throughout delivery, fastball at 77-82 mph, 11-to-5 curveball, late action, 60-65 mph, showed knuckleball at 69-73, some skink. 

Adam Gauzy, RHP, Washington, 2017
Gauzy is a 5-foot-11 155-pound switch-hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in the 2017 class. In the outfield, Gauzy plays through the catch with quick feet and clean exchange, over-the-top release, 83 mph positional velo, one of the top velos of the event from the outfield.  During batting practice, he showed no waisted movements from both sides, short stride, short to contact, level to extension, middle approach from right side, more pull approach from left side, 83 mph right exit velo and 72 mph left exit velo.  Runs 6.69 60 and 4.08 home-to-first, fastest times for the event.  On the mound, was 77-80 mph, over-the-top release, throws strikes with three pitches, 11-to-5 breaking ball 63-67 mph, 69-71 mph change-up, slight sink. 

Logan Gratza, RHP, Washington, 2018
Gratza is a 6-foot-1 155-pound right-handed pitcher and shortstop in the 2017 class. Tall, thin set-up at the plate, toe tap, slight front leg lift, oppo approach, 76 mph exit velo, runs 7.78 60. During defensive evaluations, high three-quarters arm slot 63 mph velo on infield, clean exchange, mostly accurate throws, fluid footwork. On the mound, repeatable release, smooth rhythm, throws strikes, 69-72 mph fastball, 12-to-6 curveball 60-63 mph, change-up with arm side release.

Adam Hinson, SS, St. Clair, 2016
Hinson is a 5-foot-9 130-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and outfielder.  He runs a 7.28 60 and has an exit velo of 73 mph.  During batting practice, used the middle of the field, line drives, smooth load, short stride, level path.  In the outfield, 72 mph velo, high three quarters release, works behind the ball, quick feet, clean exchange.  On the infield, high three quarters release, 67 mph velo, clean arm action, clean exchange. 

Hayden Hirschvogel, 2B, Jefferson City, 2017
Hirschvogel is a 6-foot 182-pound right-handed hitting second and third baseman in the 2017 class from Jefferson City. Hirschvogel runs a 7.72 60 and has an 81 mph exit velo.  He barreled up the baseball during batting practice, showing power to the pulls side, has feel for the barrel, smooth load from athletic stance, controlled leg lift, level path to extension, loose hands.  On the infield, clean athletic actions, high three quarters release, accurate throws, fluid footwork, 74 mph positional velo. 

Zachary Husman, 2B, Eureka, 2016
Husman is a 6-foot-5 185-pound right-handed hitting second in the 2017 class.  Runs a 7.91 60 and has an exit velo of 80 mph.  During batting practice, hits line drives, gap-to-gap, good back spin on ball, quick bat speed, level path, balance during swing.  On the infield, 72 mph positional velo, high three-quarters release, athletic footwork with a clean exchange, mostly accurate throws. 

Brandon Jarrett, OF, Ladue, 2016
Jarrett is a 5-foot-7 125-pound left handed hitting outfielder in the 2016 class. He runs a 7.25 60 with an exit velo of 62 mph.  During batting practice, used the middle of the field, smooth load, and level path.  In the outfield, he has an over the top release, plays through the ball with quick feet and fluid exchange.  70 mph positional velo. 

Chase Jones, C, Wright City, 2016
Jones is a 5-foot-9 175-poumd right-handed hitting catcher and third baseman in the 2016 class.  Jones runs a 7.94 60 and has an exit velo of 79 mph. At the plate, Jones hit line drives gap-to-gap, wide stance, lower half load, small leg kick, quick bat speed, level path.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.03 and 2.25, top pop time for the event, quick exchange and release, over the top release, accurate throws to the bag, 76 mph velo.  In the outfield, 78 mph velo, high three quarters release, fluid footwork and exchange.  On the infield, 75 mph velo, high-three quarters release, made all the plays cleanly, fluid exchange and footwork. 

Cole Justus, OF, Troy Buchanan, 2017
Justus is a 5-foot-10 160-pound right-handed hitting utility player and right-handed pitcher.  During batting practice, Justus has an exit velo of 79 mph, athletic set-up, slightly open, loads to a crouched position, short stride, gap-to-gap approach, runs 7.55 60, 4.65 home-to-first.  During defensive evals, 73 mph outfield velo, 68 mph infield velo, three-quarters release, clean exchange, works behind ball on both infield and in outfield, mostly accurate throws.  On the mound, 71-76 mph fastball,

Gus Kleekamp, SS, Borgia, 2017
Kleepkamp is a 6-foot-2 175-pound shortstop and right-handed pitcher in the 2017 class.  During hitting evaluations, Kleekamp posted an 83 mph exit velo, tall stance, short stride, mostly line drives to middle of the field, ran a 4.35 home-to-first, 7.04 60. On the infield, 74 mph positional velo, three quarters release, quick exchange and release, quick footwork, mostly accurate throws, ran a 7.04 60. During pitching evaluations, worked fastball at 76-78 mph with slight run, high three-quarters arm slot, smooth rhythm, worked to mostly glove side of catcher, 69 mph 11-to-5 curveball, showed a 70-73 mph knuckleball with sink. 

Tyler Knight, OF, Jackson, 2017
Knight is a 6-foot-1 165-pound right-handed hitting outfielder in the 2017 class.  Knight ran one of fastest 60’s for the event at 6.72 and ran a 4.23 home-to-first with a 76 mph exit velo.  At the plate, simple load short stride, gap-to-gap approach, level path. In the outfield, 73 mph positional velo, loose over the top release, quick footwork and quick release, mostly accurate throws.

Brock Laughlin, SS, Washington, 2018
Laughlin is a 5-foot-9 130-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in the 2018 class.  Laughlin runs a 8.00 60 and has an exit velo of 67 mph.  At the plate, minimal load out of a balanced stance, middle approach, smooth load.  On the infield, high three quarters release, fluid footwork, clean exchange, 58 mph positional velo. 

Michael Lenard, 3B, University City, 2016
Lenard is a 5-foot-10 170-pound right handed hitting third baseman in the 2016 class.  Lenard runs a 8.47 60 and has an exit velo of 66 mph.  At the late, loads into legs, used middle of the field during batting practice, level path.  On the infield, has 66 mph positional velo, over the top release, clean exchange, mostly accurate throws. 

Bryce Logsdon, 2B, Centralia, 2016
Logsdon is a long-legged 6-foot 170-pound right-handed hitting second and third baseman in the 2016 class.  He runs a 7.93 60, gets down the line in 4.40 and has an exit velo of 76 mph.  At the plate, wide stance, no wasted movement in load, loose hands, level path to extension. On the infield, has a 76 mph positional velo, easy high-three quarters release, mostly accurate throws, clean exchange and athletic footwork.

Tanner McVay, 3B, Oran, 2016
McVay is a 5-foot-11 155-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in the 2016 class.  He runs a 7.43 60 and has an exit velo of 83 mph.  At the plate, athletic set-up, rhythm in hands, controlled leg lift, strong hands, level path.  On the infield, high three quarters release, 68 mph positional velo, quick release, clean exchange, mostly accurate throws.

Josh Mobley, OF, Festus, 2016
Mobley is a 5-foot-11 170-pound right handed hitting outfielder in the 2016 class.  He runs a 6.92 60, one of the best times of the event, and has an exit velo of 83 mph.  He gets down the line in 4.37-seconds.  At the plate, little wasted movement in minimal load, wide/balanced stance, consistent line drives during batting practice, gap-to-gap.  In the outfield, loose over the top arm slot, plays behind the ball, momentum to towards target, quick release, 80 mph positional velo, athletic actions. 

Avery Morrow, C, Union, 2018
Morrow is a 6-foot 145-pound right-handed hitting catcher and third baseman in the 2018 class.  He runs a 7.65 60 and has an exit velo of 76 mph.  At the plate, has a balanced stance, loads in back leg, short stride, mostly line drives gap-to-gap during batting practice.  During catching evaluations, pop times between 2.15 and 2.33, over the top release, quick exchange, quick footwork, soft hands, mostly accurate throws. 

Ryan O’Connell, RHP, Lafayette, 2017
O’Connell is a 5-foot-11 180-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2017 class. Posted one of the top velos of the day at 85 mph.  Works from a three-quarters arm slot, throws with regular effort, hide ball, 80-85 mph fastball, slider at 72-76 mph, good pitch, late break, sharp 10-to-4 action.  Curveball at 64-69 mph, more 11-to-5 action, change-up at 67-69 mph.  Works down in zone with pitches at top of knees. 

Ryan Paschal, RHP, Blair Oaks, 2017
Paschal is a 6-foot 150-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting shortstop.  He runs a 7.43 60, gets down the line in 4.34-seconds, and has a 77 mph exit velo.  During batting practice, Paschal has a middle approach, level path, starts in athletic stance, minimal load.  On the infield, 78 mph positional velo, one of the best among infielders, long arm swing, over the top release, fluid foot work, mostly accurate throws.  On the mound, simple repeatable delivery, body under control, arm works, fastball at 82-85 mph, one of the top velos for the event, high percentage of strikes, both sides of plate, 11-to-5 curveball, late action, tight spin, 69-68 mph, change up with fastball arm speed, 74-78 mph. 

Gage Patton, C, Timberland, 2018
Patton is a 5-foot-11 150-pound right-handed hitting catcher and third baseman. Patton runs a 7.75 60 and 4.44 home-to-first. He has a tall stance at the plate, walks away from hand with an early front foot, loose/quick hands, short to contact, gap-to-gap approach, good round of batting practice, 78 mph exit velo.  Behind the plate, quick exchange, over-the-top release, loose arm action, mostly accurate throws, 71 mph positional velo, pop times between 2.13 and 2.21.

Blake Pickard, OF, Union, 2016
Pickard is a 5-foot-10 175-pound right handed hitting outfielder and catcher.  He runs a 7.81 60 and 4.65 home-to-first.  Pickard starts in an athletic stance, toe tap, high leg lift, big stride, level bat path, gap-to-gap approach, aggressive, exit velo of 73 mph.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.10 and 2.32, one of the top times of the event, clean exchange, fluid footwork, mostly accurate throws, over the top release.  In the outfield, high three quarters release, works behind ball, momentum through catch, clean exchange, fluid footwork. 

James Rackers, SS, Blair Oaks, 2017
Rackers is a 5-foot-9 140-pound right-handed hitting shortstop in the 2017 class.  At the plate, tall stance, some hand load, short stride, level swing to extension, gap-to-gap approach, 77 mph exit velo, runs a 7.25 60.  In the outfield, 86 mph positional velo, top outfield velo for the event, quick footwork, over-the-top release, loose arm action, plays through the ball, mostly accurate throws.  On the infield, 80 mph positional velo, tops for the event. On the infield, 80 mph positional velo, clean glove-to-hand exchange, quick footwork, momentum towards target, athletic actions.

Kory Ramsey, RHP, Salem, 2017
Ramsey is a 6-foot-3 200-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting first baseman in the 2017 class.   He runs a 7.87 60 and has an exit velo of 84 mph.  During batting practice, balanced stance, smooth load with hands, level path, gap-to-gap approach, power to pull side, strong hands. On the infield, 74 mph positional velo, clean exchange, fluid footwork, over the top release.  On the mound, fastball at 78-82 mph, over the top release, throws with some effort, stays in line down mound, curveball at 66-70, 11-to-5 action, good feel, change up with arm side release, near fastball arm speed, 67-71 mph, high percentage to strikes, throws downhill.

Brandon Repp, RHP, Washington, 2018
Repp is a 6-foot 151-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting pitcher.  He runs a 7.39 60, a 4.31 home-to-first and posted a 77 mph exit velo. During batting practice, started in a closed stance, smooth load, level swing, gap-to-gap approach.  In the outfield, has a positional velo of  70 mph, over the top release, plays through the ball, quick exchange, fluid footwork.  On the mound, throws with regular effort, over the top release, arm works, fastball at 69-72 mph, slight run, works both sides of plate, curveball at 58-61 mph, 12-to-6 action, knuckleball at 57-60 mph, with sink.

Trevor Rhoads, 3B, Francis Howell, 2016
Rhoads ran a 7.56 60 and is a 6-foot 180-pound right-handed hitting third baseman and outfielder.  At the plate, Rhoads posted an 82 mph exit velo, has balanced set up with small toe touch, minimal load, level path with gap-to-gap approach.  76 mph positional velo on the infield, one of the best velos among infielders, 82 mph outfield velo, one of the top for the event. Three quarters release, clean exchange, fluid footwork.

Elijah Richeson, RHP, Festus, 2017
Richeson is a well built 6-foot-3 left-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher in the 2017 class.  He runs a 7.07 60 and has an exit velo of 86 mph, one of the top for the event.  During batting practice, Richeson impressed with power to the pull side and an aggressive swing, slightly open stance, lower half load, strong/loose hands, level path to extension, quick bat speed.  In the outfield, 86 mph positional velo, top outfield velo for the event, high-three quarters release, athletic actions, plays behind ball, momentum through the catch, mostly accurate throws.  On the mound, controlled leg lift, over the top arm slot, loose arm action, stays in line getting down mound, 79-83 mph fastball, one of the top velos for the event, slight run, high number of strikes, 12-to-6 breaking ball, down in zone, 58-61 mph, change up with near fastball arm speed, slight release, 67-72 mph.

Chandler Seger, OF, Advance, 2016
Seger is a 5-foot-10 145-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and second baseman in the 2016 class.  Seger runs a 7.60 60 and has a 70 mph exit velo.  He gets down the line in 4.51-seconds. At the plate, tall stance, minimal load, line drives gap-to-gap during batting practice, level path to extension, solid contact.  In the outfield, over the top release, 70 mph positional velo, plays through the catch, crow hop, quick release, fluid footwork.

Bobby Shallenberger, RHP, St. Louis Priory, 2016
Shallenberger is a 6-foot-1 185-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2016 class. Shallenberger is a strike thrower with body control throughout a simple/repeatable delivery.  He stays in line as he gets down the mound and finishes in an athletic position.  Over the top release, fastball at 80-82 mph, works both sides of plate, curveball at 66-70 mph, 11-to-5 action, tight spin, late break, change up at 77-78 mph down in zone. 

Gerrit Shirts, RHP, Jefferson City, 2016
Shirts is a 6-foot-1 165-pound right-handed pitcher in the 2016 class.  Shirts posted the top velo of the event at 87 mph, hitting 87 mph on his last two pitches of his bullpen.  Shirts throws with some effort and loose arm action, high percentage of strikes with three pitches, attacks the zone.  Fastball worked at 83-85 mph, showed 11-to-5 curveball at 69-70, sharp/late action, change up with sink, consistent down in zone, 74-75 mph. 

Alex Silvernail, OF, Eureka, 2017
Silvernail is a 5-foot-11 165-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in the 2017 class. At the plate, has an 83 mph exit velo, balanced set-up, minimal load, quick/loose hands, slightly uphill path, middle to pull during batting practice, runs a 6.81 60, one of the fastest 60 times for the event, and gets down the line in 4.10.  In the outfield, crow hop, high three quarters release, clean exchange 69 mph positional velo.

Trey Simpson, SS, Waynesville, 2016
Simpson is a 5-foot-10 145-pound switch-hitting shortstop and right-handed pitcher in the 2016 class. Simpson runs a 7.50 60, was clocked out of the box at 4.36 from the left side and has an exit velo of 77 mph.  From the left side of the plate, he has an open thin stance, walks away from hands and lands in an athletic position, gap-to-gap approach, 69 mph left handed exit velo.  Right-handed swing has more square stance, level path, gap-to-gap approach, loose hands.  On the infield, 68 mph positional velo, quick release, quick feet, high three quarters release, loose arm action.  On the mound, raises hands with knee, stays in line creating good direction, fastball at 74-76 mph, lots of strikes, 11-to-5 breaking ball with late action, 61-63 mph, command of change up at 67-68 mph, with sink. 

Scott Speaks, SS, Mexico, 2016
Speaks is a 5-foot-8 150-pound right-handed hitting middle infielder in the 2016 class. Speaks starts in a wide-stance at the plate, uses a controlled leg lift with lower half load, had a middle approach during batting practice, balanced finish, 75 mph exit velo.  On the infield high three-quarters release with fluid footwork, clean exchange, 70 mph positional velo.  Runs a 7.44 60 and 4.52 home-to-first.

Kory Stephens, SS, California, 2018
Stephens is a 5-foot-7 130-pound right-handed hitting shortstop and third baseman.  He runs a 7.59 60 and a 4.31 home-to-first.  During batting practice, Stephens showed an aggressive swing with fast bat speed, linear load, slight dive with front foot, level to extension, line drives middle to pull side, 68 mph exit velo.  On the infield, three-quarters release, quick feet, fluid hand-to-glove exchange, 69 mph positional velo. 

Daulton Sweeten, 3B, Lafayette, 2017

Joey Thompson, 3B, Lafayette, 2016
Thompson is a 6-foot 200-pound right-handed hitting third baseman in the 2016 class.  Thompson runs a 7.41 60 and has an exit velo of 81 mph.  At the plate, Thompson showed an advanced approach, hands work inside the ball, gap-to-gap, loose hands, smooth load, level path.  On the infield, he has a 75 mph positional velo, clean exchange, fluid footwork, accurate throws, high three-quarters release.

Jacob Unnerstall, RHP, Borgia, 2018
Unnerstall is a 6-foot-3 170-pound right-handed pitcher and right-handed hitting third baseman in the 2018 class.  Unnerstall runs a 7.53 60 and has an exit velo of 75 mph. At the plate, starts loaded in back side, little wasted movement, smooth rhythm, level path, middle to pull side during batting practice.  On the infield, 68 mph positional velo, fluid actions with feet and hands, high three quarters release, mostly accurate throws. On the mound, aggressive down the mound, throws downhill, loose arm action, strike thrower, fastball at 74-79 mph, some cutting action, 11-to-5 curveball late action, 64-65 mph, change-up at 64-66.  Lean build that will allow for more physical development and velo increase. 

Garrett Welschmeyer, C, Blair Oaks, 2017
Welschmeyer is a 5-foot-10 220-pound right-handed hitting catcher in the 2017 class.  Welschmeyer runs a 8.62 60 and has an exit velo of 77 mph.  At the plate, balanced stace, controlled load with low leg lift, loose hand, feel for the barrel.  Behind the plate, pop times between 2.45 and 2.65, over the top release, fluid exchange, keeps hands high, fluid footwork, 64 mph positional velo.  At first base, clean exchange, over the top release, 66 mph positional velo. 

Brandon Williams, RHP, Jefferson City, 2017
Williams is a 6-foot-3 180-pound right-handed hitting outfielder and right-handed pitcher.  At the plate, starts with open stance, short stride to square, gap-to-gap approach, signs of power the other way, loose hands, level to extension, 87 mph exit velo, one of the top exit velos for the event. During defensive evaluations, Williams has a positional velo of 84 mph, one of the best outfield velos for the event, mostly accurate throws, over the top release, works through the catch, clean exchange.  On the mound, good body control during delivery, repeats release, throws strikes, 79-83 mph fastball velo, one of the top velos for the event, some with run, 11-to-5 breaking ball, 63-65, good command of of change-up, down in zone, 67-72 mph. 

Jared Zbinden, RHP, Ritenour, 2017
Zibinden is a 5-foot-10 155-pound left-handed hitting outfielder in the 2017 class.  Zbinden runs a 7.16 60 and has an exit velo of 61 mph.  At the plate, balanced stance, some hand load, hit balls to mostly pull side, level path.  In the outfield, 78 mph positional velo, over the top release, plays through the ball, momentum towards target, quick footwork, quick exchange.  On the mound, over the top release, fastball at 70-75 mph, repeats release point, 11-to-5 curveball, 53-61 mph, change up at 62 mph, near fastball arm speed.
